I just stayed at The Sebastian for 3 nights. The location is ideal and lobby and restaurant are very nice. Also, the staff was helpful. However, my confirmation showed a "room rate" of $336.00 per night with a free night included. So, I expected to pay for 2 nights at $336.00 per night plus taxes and fees. I reviewed the guest folio upon departure and I was charged $519.00 for the first night and $489.00 for the second night. In effect, they charged me for 3 nights at $336.00 per night. I inquired with the onsite manager and she said that the "Room Rate" on my confirmation was an average room rate although it was not labeled as such. I find it deceptive that they would confirm a room rate of $336.00 and with one night free and then charge me the equivalent of 3 nights at $336.00.

The Sebastian in Vail is an absolute gem! The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The staff is friendly and attentive, made us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Vail Village with easy access to shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities. The outdoor pool and hot tubs are a great bonus for unwinding. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious yet cozy stay in Vail!

If you are looking for a lovely yet convenient place to stay in Vail Village, this is it. The location has something to meet all your needs with a wonderful lobby, restaurant, bar, pool and hut tub area. The rooms are so very comfortable and the staff is friendly and courteous.

We had the most fabulous stay at the Sebastian! The hotel is elegant, the pool and hot tubs were amazing! The bar, music and bar staff at Gambit were friendly and wonderful!! The conciere went above and beyond to make our Anniversary perfect!

This would be a five star rating (and yes we’re coming back) if their restaurant, Lenora, was even “average”. I really think it just boiled down to staffing and training. People don’t know what they don’t know.

exceptional location in Vail. the staff goes beyond to make you feel welcome. Our Black Lab Gryfen especially enjoyed his stay at the Sebastion.

From the start, three people at the valet stand. When pulling up, I had to actually ask them if I were even to get a ticket for my car. It was as if I was bothering them to ask for a ticket for my car. No ticket was available. The front desk staff was quite busy in personal conversations, but eventually assisted us in checking in. In the morning, the coffee machine in the lobby is broken and the front desk person said they have no idea if and when it will get fixed. No alternatives. Unless you wanna wait for the restaurant to open. Upon check out, it was pretty much the same. It was a bother for us to check out and think that it would be a speedy process. We waited 10 minutes at seven in the morning to get our car brought around. The gambit bar bartenders were quite busy in their own personal discussions to assist us at the end of the bar, far end of the bar to place an order. After waiting for several minutes we simply left and when elsewhere.
