The location is amazing and central to the main area of Vail. All the guys at check in were super friendly, helpful, and always eager to lend a hand. That is pretty much where the positives end. The room was not great, there was no way to plug in a phone next to the bed (plug was used for lamp and speaker and the cords in a mess), towels and sheets cheap, the in room fridge was beyond tiny, and while the room offered complimentary tea and coffee, there were no mugs to even make the beverages. It was a very, very basic for the price point. I have stayed at other places in the area with much better amenities. Carpets are pretty beat up in the hallways. The spa was mediocre, which was one of my intial draws to the hotel. The steam room was broken and closed, the salt room tiny, there was a single solo cold plunge, and two small jacuzzis on the deck. Dirty towels, beverages, and cups often left around the deck space. The oxygen therapy was also broken and the spa failed to tell me my session would be cancelled due to broken equipment until less than one hour prior to my appointment. Had they checked earlier or the days prior when I talked to the spa regarding the treatment, I would have had the opportunity to book elsewhere. I did get a massage treatment that was ok however the practioner chewed gum and cracked it during the treatment which was quite disturbing. A big thank you to all the guys at the front desk but nothing else was memorable.
