This hotel is fine if you are looking for a place to rest your head but you may as well stay in a guest house for all of the extra facilities that exist at this “resort and spa”. So many amenities that were advertised were not available. We called to book massages before arriving in Albania and we were told we could book upon check in. No masseuse was available. No gym. No laundry service. We arranged to book the spa for an extra charge at 9 pm. We rushed home from dinner only to find the spa closed. When we called reception, they sent someone down who claimed there was no ability to book after hours - even though we had arranged with the front desk and the sign at check in advertises this option. Room wasn’t cleaned. We requested clean towels instead - they never arrived. Poor service. Just not ready. This is the first negative review I have ever been prompted to write in years of travel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Valbona and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. While the location is stunning, the hotel is still under construction, and unfortunately, the noise from the work started as early as 8 AM, even on the weekend, which was disruptive. The room was decent but not as clean as I would have liked. Additionally, the balcony was shared with other rooms, which compromised my privacy and comfort. The breakfast buffet was also quite limited, and by 9 AM, many items were gone and not replenished. Lastly, the manager was not as polite as I would have expected, which added to my overall dissatisfaction. The hotel has potential, but these issues, particularly the shared balcony and management's attitude, need improvement for a better guest experience.

Beautiful hotel. Very luxurious and beautiful view. But that's it. Staff does not speak English. Restaurant, both breakfast and restaurant not worth 2 *. Coffee undrinkable. If you ask for another coffee you have to pay for it. We ate lamb ribs, once 2 and my husband 3 ribs and 3 pieces of potato. Then afterwards asked for a Caesar salad but it was only lettuce and tomato. Rooms are not cleaned. Only fresh towels. Kettle in the room without more. Terrace is communal Our least stay on our tour. Is a new hotel and hope that the staff is better trained. But I would give it 3 * for clean and luxurious hotel with beautiful view

Worst staff I have ever seen. Extremely unproffesional for a selfclaiming “5 star hotel”. Our waiter Henri didnt even take notes and joked with us in arrogance when we said maybe take notes?? We were having 7 people having dinner, so how are you suppossed to remember all those orders. So basically what happened is most of the orders were wrong, they were late, he was always rude and when asked for something would say yes ofcourse and then be nowhere with delivering that… We waited 10 minuts for a bottle of water, and I had to walk to bar and find Henri to finish payment of dinner, after asking for a bill for 20 minutes… after finishing payment I also asked for his name, shocked in fear he replied why do you need it, I said im just interested, and he said Junik… Luckily I had heard his name from another waiter and also had his name in my recepit. Nice try though! Food was great though props to cuisine, but not good enough for me to want to go through Henri or the staff again. Also all the waiters were acting high, we were calling loud enough for 2-3 tables to look around why the waiter cant hear us, when he was closer than those tables. If you call yourself a 5 star hotel, go through the process of training your staff. Embarrasing and you will never see any of us again!
