It is a very good traditional hotel. It is located in a neighborhood with narrow alleys filled with restaurants, bakeries, and street vendors that you can walk around and enjoy.

My reservation was for a Premier room. The photos online showed a gorgeous room, with windows overlooking the town square.
When I arrived, I was taken to an attic room 3 flights up. Elevator only went to the 2nd floor. They put me into a sparse family room with 4 twin beds. And only one skylight and a tiny oval window way up high. Windows only accessible by standing on the bed or on a chair. When I asked why I didn't get the premier room I made the reservation for, I was told, "We didn't think it mattered, we thought you were with the wedding party that was already booked because you are all Americans ." EXTREMELY dissatisfied and disappointed. No other rooms were available and I asked every single day. Stayed 3 days. Worst stayr ever. DON'T RECOMMEND.

Excellent accueil, équipe à l’écoute, souriante et très serviable. Chambre propre et spacieuse avec vue sur la place animée des arcades. Salle de bain rénovée très fonctionnelle.Localisation idéale de l’hôtel au centre historique du village , entouré de restaurants et commerces, dont un Spar et une boulangerie. Nous revenons à chaque fois avec plaisir!

Love this hotel. No, it’s not the Ritz but the location is wonderful, the staff are too. Our room 1611 was a fabulous corner room overlooking the busy, buzzy square. Valbonne is very beautiful, laid back and cute. We didn’t include breakfast and perhaps we should have. A bar and upstairs terrace would have added to our experience

I paid for a prestige room. The MOST EXPENSIVE room. I was NOT GIVEN A PRESTIGE ROOM. Instead I was shoved into the attic room, called a family room with No windows other than a skylight. I am a single older woman. Apparently they thought because I was American, and there was a wedding party here, that I was with them and the room wouldn't matter!! I wanted the lovely prestige room I saw on their web, wirh a window , and all amenities of a prestige room. What I got was a room an artic room with 3 beds. Sparse. I've stayed at Holiday Inns with more luxuries and at 1/3 the price. Over $700 for an attic, no windows to look out of. Immensely disappointed. Would not recommend or ever stay here again. If you book a room, contact them immediately and ensure you will be getting the room you saw, and paid for.

Unfortunately, in spite of a very expensive repair, their elevator was not functional. The place and the people were so nice, and the room was wonderful, so I was able to overlook having to climb the stairs in spite of my disability.
