Very Good

We walked for about 1.2 km from the train station to the hotel. But the visiting sites are all within walking distance from the hotel, which makes it convenient. Hotel provides simple continental breakfast buffet for €5. Staff at the reception counter was friendly. No mineral water, coffee or tea provided in the rooms. Rooms are very basic and have just enough space for 1 luggage, after shifting the furniture a bit to make space for it. Walls are a bit thin, and conversations could be heard from the corridor.

Shameful. A tiny room, without air conditioning and very old. The excessively small bathroom. The building needs renovation. A single elevator, also very small, for many floors. Its situation, very good on the other hand, does not help how bad the accommodation is. A little sympathy at the reception would also be appreciated

We didn't expect much, we didn't find much. The toilet was not fixed in place ;) yes the room is very small, there is no window, the breakfast is not worth mentioning, but the location is perfect

Hotel in the center, wonderful location as a few steps from the square and the station, the room was quite small, with a walk-in closet in the wall, a bathroom that could have been better cared for, but was fine, a totally useless window, because opposite there was a wall, well-functioning air conditioner, and very comfortable bed, very damaged and dirty table, also equipped with a TV. Very friendly reception, I recommend it if you want to spend little, stay a few days, and especially for those who want to stay in the city center as much as possible.

Very unpleasant experience. The four nights of the hottest month in Valencia in July, 16-20. Room 201 provided by the hotel has no air-conditioning and only a fan. After coordination with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to change to an air-conditioned room the next day. The next day I went to say that I couldn't change it that day, but I could change it on the third or fourth day, and I went on the third day and said it couldn't be changed. Feeling that the same lady at the front desk was out of her mind and acted unreasonably, I called the police and left a complaint record to the police station. I did not stay at this hotel for 4 nights.

Good hotel that corresponds the Price. Very clean and tidy. Great location. Friendly staff both in reception and at breakfast. Breakfast a bit boring but the coffee was amazing. My best recommandations to those who does not prioritize luxury hotels

The location is great, 3 minutes walking to the main central Plaza Del Ayuntamento. When we arrived before check-in, staff weren't particularly welcoming or friendly and made us pay in advance full amount for the 4 nights. Also they want to know in advance at what time we want to have breakfast. Didn'tt understand why this request. Anyway, breakfast is basic, only 2 different qualities of industrial bread, drinks from the machine, no eggs or fresh fruit. Lift is really smal as the room was, no street view, very thin walls . I guess they keep this type of poor Rooms for guest who make reservation through Booking. With a little effort from the staff and managment this hotel coudl be much better.

This place is exactly what it looks like on the web, the price is right, and the room is comfy enough to have a good rest. The bathroom bit crowdy, but everything is in order. Friendly staff, professional, and helpful. All in all, you got what you expected and the location is perfect. The only thing to be improved is the availability of hot water. One can barely survive without a cup of tea. Or two.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location (very central). However, everything else is a disaster. The smallest room I have very stayed (and believe me I have travelled a lot), the worst breakfast ever (the bread or croissants were in cellophane) and the coffees were from machine... what else can I say... The best thing though is that it is pet-friendly, as you can see in the photo. I had to spend the night with the cockroach I killed after chasing it for a few minutes. When I told them the next day, they offered me to clean the room... I had to push them for a new room, and (what a great customer service) they took me to an even worse room. Both rooms were looking a dark skylight, many rooms do... I know it is cheap but if you want to spend more than a night you better choose one of the other hotels (of the same chain) in the lovely centre of Valencia.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights & chose it as it was the most budget-friendly option for central Valencia. The hotel was not very responsive when we made contact before our travels. When we arrived before check-in, staff weren't particularly welcoming or friendly but we were able to store our luggage which was helpful. Although our booking said check-in was from 2pm, we were told it would be around 2.30. The room was a good size & generally clean. It was quite dark & old-fashioned compared to the lobby & reception. There was a window but this faced an inner courtyard/ shaft so there wasn't much light. There was ample storage space but toiletries were in little tubes which wasn't very environmentally friendly. There was a hairdryer which was helpful. The main negative was the lack of charging points. There was only one plug socket near the floor next to the door so it was really odd! When we had an overall clean of the room, some bits were also a bit dusty. The hotel does get quite noisy & you can hear it when neighbours are in the shower etc. On the first morning we woke up, we could hear a lot of noises before we got up. Perhaps it's the layout of the rooms which amplifies the noise. It has an old caged lift which is really retro & cool but quite small. We used the stairs so didn't need it but it might be a hassle for those with huge suitcases. The hotel offers breakfast for 5 euros but it didn't look particularly inviting so we opted to eat out during our stay. The best thing about the hotel was its location which was between the old & new parts of the city. It was around 10 minutes' walk from the Xativa metro station & Estacion del Nord with easy access to transport in Valencia & beyond. Overall, we liked our stay in Casual de la Musica & wouldn't hesitate to stay there again but it's probably not the best for long stays.

There is only one plug in the room and that's by the food 5cm from the floor. The room and the wc superrb narrow,, if you want to use the wc one of your leg should stick to the wall, just stay away from this hotel, and never trust *********** they won't help if you want to cancel the reservation

In short: I would stay here again, if only for the location, but you get what you pay for. And don't spend money on the hotel breakfast. Go to a nearby café. Even though we reserved a room only a week or so in advance, it was relatively cheap. The staff nice, and we could store our luggage while waiting for check-inn. The room and bathroom was decently sized, nothing was especially noteworthy, but you get what you pay for. (I would highly recommend bringing earplugs, as the street outside can become noisy.) The location is the true standout. It's absolutely fabulous, close to the main street(s), parking (e.g. San Vicente), the Northern train station, and in general everything you'd want or need. And for that reason I recommend that you do not have breakfast at the hotel. It's in NO way worth the 5 euros - you will get something a lot better at a nearby café, for the same or similar amount of money. Enjoy a croissant and a coffee elsewhere.

Hotel is in a great location near to the train station and sights. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but ok. Downside was the bedroom walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone and everything they're doing in the other rooms.
