Il castello di Giomici è veramente un borgo incantato, medievale nelle forme ma perfettamente tenuto e ristrutturato preservando tutta la bellezza delle antiche pietre. Camere assolutamente pulite e ben fornite, calde tutto il giorno e la notte - malgrado fossimo in una tempesta di vento non ho patito un briciolo di freddo stando in camera. Bei particolari per chi apprezza, costituiti da travi antichi a vista, belle ceramiche nel bagno e in terra e ovunque un'aria elegante ma accogliente. Lo staff di primissimo livello, grande pazienza, grande conoscenza delle lingue e grande savoir faire. Non facile da trovare, devo dire. Grande encomio all'essere pet friendly senza nemmeno farlo notare, come se fosse la cosa piu naturale del mondo, cosa che trovo assolutamente meritevole. Buona cucina umbra casareccia, colazioni abbondanti e nel complesso stare a mezza pensione è una scelta vincente, per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Molto vicino a parecchi punti di interesse, tra cui Assisi, Perugia e Gubbio, ma anche solo girellare per i monti umbri senza meta vale l'esperienza.

Un oasi di tranquillità!! Siamo stati con il nostro cane Aku nel appartamento la terassa, stupendo!!!tutto quello che serve sicuramente nel estate meglio per godersi la picolla terassa sdraiato al sole!! P.S ce solo il bagnetto picollo, ma per noi abbastanza! Colazione abbondante cene come acasa ,ma servita con la gentilezza del tutto personale. Unica cosa da sapere e che serve la macchina per muoversi,tutto vicino ma a piedi difficilmente. Da suggerire già che sono da noleggiare le bici di fare delle sentieri da percorrere dal castello,magari con il tempo e forse non dipende solo da loro. Grazie per tutte goduto tutto al massimo Saluti Adriana, Thomas e Aku .consigliatissimo!!!!

Siamo stati in questo hotel con mio marito e la nostra cagnolina di 30 kg - un esperienza indimenticabile. Il personale gentile e disponibile, sempre sorridente. Il castello con le camere arredate in stile medievale mantenendo però i servizi. La vista mozzafiato. L'ambiente pet friendly: i cani non solo che non sono un problema , sono ben venuti anche in sala colazioni e cene. I pasti buoni. Abbiamo passato 3 giorni molto piacevoli.

Castello ulula...
Bellissima location in castello medievale.Le stanze pulite, il bagno moderno anche se nel rispetto della struttura esistente. Unica pecca faceva un po' freddino e non c'era il piumone ma una semplice coperta in pile sul letto. Problema ovviato con termostato personale in stanza. Anche nel bagno, oltre ai prodotti di cortesia, era presente una stufetta elettrica per riscaldare l'ambiente. Per il resto posto magnifico. Sembrava di stare in un'altra era.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Umbria
This is a real medieval castle! You travel in time when staying at Giomici. The hosts are a wonderful team, excellent communication and service. The room was comfortable and super-clean. We stayed once for the supper, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plenty and fresh. The locally produced coffee was a nice surprise.

Abbiamo soggiornato al castello una notte, la stanza era molto pulita ed i letti comodi. La colazione buona e il personale veramente molto gentile e disponibile. Il luogo è tranquillo e incantevole, consiglio di chiedere di fare un giro con una persona dello staff come guida perché ne vale la pena. Il giro è breve e quindi apprezzato anche dai bambini (i miei sono voluti salire sulla torre due volte). Noi al soggiorno abbiamo aggiunto il pranzo, per festeggiare un compleanno. Ci siamo trovati tutti bene.
