This hotel was a fantastic find - a real gem! The location was perfect for exploring Valletta, and the hotel itself was set in a stunning renovated building, with fantastic interior design features. The staff were so friendly, and willing to be flexible and helpful in any way they could. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good range of amenities. The breakfast was just right, and you could order what you wanted the day before, so it was very personalised. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, which was free to use all day, as well as at breakfast, which was a real highlight. I loved 19 Rooms, would highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful hotel! We booked the penthouse to get the balcony and it was faultless - huge comfy bed, huge balcony with sunloungers and chairs, a little kitchenette and a fab bathroom with lovely, powerful, hot shower. Air con super effective! All staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly and speak good English. The complementary breakfast is brilliant - pastry and bread selections, meats and cheese, local dips, granola and yoghurt pots and freah smoothies of the day. Hot drinks are free all day, as is filtered water. Every day between 6 and 9, the roof terrace opens and there are complementary drinks (red and white wine, cisc lager, coke, sprite and Kinnie) - the views from the terrace are fab and it's a great spot to watch the sunset. The hotel is beautifully maintained and furnished and is in a lovely, quiet spot but is literally 5 mins walk to Strait Street etc for bars and restaurants and less than 10 mins walk to all main sightseeing spots such as the Co-cathedral, St Elmos Fort and War Museum, Upper Barrakka Gardens and the gun salute. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Beautifully renovated, centrally located boutique style hotel. Close enough to the city centre to make access to good restaurants, sights etc a 5 minute walk, but on a quiet sidestreet to ensure good sleep. Friendly, efficent staff will take care of your every need. Extensive breakfast. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved it stay and would highly recommend. The hotel management has identified what’s important and excels in those areas. Clean, quiet, good location, comfortable beds, friendly, informative, arranges restaurants and taxis for you, free coffee, free cake and aperitifs after 5pm, beautiful roof terrace with amazing views, nice breakfast. We got to know a few of the other guests whilst on the roof terrace enjoying our aperitifs and nibbles, such was the conducive atmosphere created by the team. Genuinely friendly, attentive, professional, happy staff. It’s a sign of a well run hotel. Congratulations and big thanks to Matthew, Monica and everyone who works there. We highly recommend staying here and would 100% stay here again if we revisit.

Perfect location, perfect facilities and perfect staff. Matthew and Monica really did go the extra mile and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was in a very quite area but very close to everything. Breakfast was great and fresh with plenty of choice. The late afternoon cake and coffee in the lounge was a nice touch where we could relax, catch up with the day, other guests and staff to talk about where we had been and recommendations of where to go the next day. The evening aperitif was again a great idea where we took the lift to the roof to look over the beautiful city and watch the sun go down before heading off the the plentiful quality restaurants available. What an amazing place and thanks again to Matthew and Monica.

Great location in old Valletta, great walking in old town, restaurants within 5-10 minutes, inside of building all modern. Good free breakfast, 24 hour coffee and bakery snacks, staff friendly, beds and wifi good. My only complaint is that 103 our room door could not open completely because of electric panel.
