Amazing experience at El Silencio. Staff are very welcoming. I especially enjoyed the bird walk with Jose. Very passionate about the tour. The restaurant was delicious and everything was fresh and prepared perfectly.

Foi incrível toda a experiência no hotel. Um ponto forte para o carisma da equipe e principalmente para o chef. A comida estava espetacular em todas as refeições.
Imperdível para quem vai para região e o hotel fica bem próximo das Blue Falls (passeio imperdível)
Ps: os quartos são MUITO melhores do que as fotos exibidas!!!

Will visit again
Staying at the hotel was amazing we enjoyed our time very much.
Room was big and comfy with great maintenance from cleaning staff and an overall amazing experience of service from all of the hotel staff.
Unfortunately some of the hotel was under construction and our room was close enough to hear some of the construction during the day, although sound insulation in the room was great.

Hotel grounds and staff were impeccable. The only disappointment was no exotic animals. The hotel is nestled in the middle of a forest but no animal sightings.

El lugar es increíble! Está muy bien cuidado, excelente comida y servicio. Es la segunda vez que venimos y nos encanta. Fuimos a sembrar árboles y ver la montaña. También hay arquería, gimnasio, spa y piscina. Súper recomendado para visitar el bosque nuboso de Costa Rica.

The lodge and grounds are lovely. Unfortunately the billing practices are extremely shady. At the end of our stay they refused to give us an itemized receipt for charges & lied about refunding certain things. I'm still trying to get them to itemize a $1400 bill, which was two days of food and transport. We had no spa or extra tours. If you choose to stay here, I would recommend being very cautious about what you order, keep a journal and let them know in advance you will expect the bill to be clear and itemized on checkout.
