The motel manager phoned prior to arrival to ensure my attendance and guage time if arrival. He met me promptly even though I arrived later in the evening and directed me to my room and parking. Very hrlpful gentleman.
The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed with fridge, microwave, tv and lots of usable furniture.
The bathroom was clean and fresh. The only drawback with the bathroom is the sink is small with no counter soace at all. I used a chair from the livingroom to put some of my toiletries on.
The place was perfect for an overnight stay on a longer trip.
It is a bit off the beaten track but there's not much in the town anyways.
I would recommend this motel.

The inn was convenient and clean. Old but clean. Almost felt you went back in time when you entered the room. One of our room’s windows had a broken pane but was taped up pretty good. Maybe waiting for repairs.

This is an independently owned motel. Right at I-10 exit 140B. Very reasonable rates. Super clean and comfortable, shows the owner really cares. Probably the closest lodging to Guadalupe Mountains National Park and an easy straight shot. Would definitely stay here again.
