What I didn’t like: insanely expensive prices at the bar, when I ordered breakfast and it came out to $13 (coffee, pancakes, granola) - this is an insane price for Southeast Asia. It’s worth going outside and these pancakes cost 1 $, and in the hostel - 5! When I asked for help booking train tickets, they sent me to a travel agency at the hostel, where the service fee was 100℅. It’s the same story with balloons; I went to the city and booked it for $115; at the hostel it was $130. Moreover, I asked the girl at the reception how much is a good price for a hot air balloon flight, otherwise a tourist can be given any price, and she said $130, which is what they charge at their travel agency. Although in the city I found it cheaper in 15 minutes. It was this earning of money that stressed me out. Hostels are usually ready to help, suggest better and cheaper options, life hacks for locals.
