Hotels near Golfe du Morbihan Natural Regional Park, Vannes

My partner and I had booked our room five days prior to our stay. On arrival, we were informed that the newly renovated Spa and Well-being centre were not open. This was particularly disappointing as my wife was looking forward to using the spa facility. When we asked at reception as to why we were not informed (no spa facilities) at time of booking, the staff could provide no answer other than give a shrug of indifference. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the past ten years, prior to the refurbishment (Hotel Ocean Manche) and we were disappointed that the hotel has lost all of its Gallic charm. The exterior of the hotel now looks like a shabby undertakers, the bathroom (in our room) had lost its bath and bidet, and was now (post-refurbishment) cramped and poorly finished. The coffee facility in the bedroom is a Nespresso machine stuck in the open plan wardrobe, there are no glasses in the room, (when we asked for a couple of glasses at reception, we were given paper cups). Though advertised, there was no available Netflix or Amazon available to view. Overall very disappointing, and I am somewhat dubious of the numerous reviews listed on the hotel website that seem to heap praise on the wonderful bed linen? Finally, despite numerous complaints to the hotel, and Original Hotels Service Quality department regarding the lack of advertised facilities during our stay, no apology has been forthcoming, other than one email from the Service Quality department apportioning blame on the Hotel Maury (no response whatsoever from the hotel).

A stunning location. The room was spacious and well appointed, but parts of the hotel look slightly tired. One feels that if a little bit of money was spent on the hotel, it could be a first rate hotel looking out over the Gulf de Morbihan. The staff were very helpful. There are two restaurants , one within the hotel an one in a conservatory (actually attached to the other restaurant). We had made a reservation in the second one but changed it to the restaurant in the hotel as the conservatory area didn’t look all that inviting. The food we had was very nice and we would certainly be very happy to use the hotel again and eat at the restaurant.

Excellent welcome, very friendly staff. My studio was equipped with a sofa bed. Everything was very clean and very pleasant to live in. The only negative point is that being out of the way, we couldn't easily find a place to eat.

The hotel is perfectly located near the Breton Highway it is located near a trader which allows multiple choices for the exploration destinations of the region the hotel is equipped with a very large Parking rooms are very practical staff was very pleasant the room was perfectly in line with its description there is a possibility to take breakfast

The hotel is located in the centre of Arvor, and the hotel is located in the centre of Arvor. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable . But I am tomorrow morning at the PDJ to make a settlement . This is not the procedure . OK therefore no possibility of paying in vacation cheques while I made a reservation with a flexible rate ( + 8 or 10 € ) just to make my CB not debited . The next day I see the person who welcomed us the evening and I talk to him about my disappointment . ” I am the director .....................................................................” No discussions possible . I will go to another place . Otherwise I recommend the Arvor party .

Petit hôtel propre, vraiment pas cher, situé dans la zone marchande sud de Vannes bien insonorisé, personnel à l'écoute, chambre petite, propre. Petit déjeuner complet: sucré, salé, fruits... Repas du soir en demi-pension copieux, bon, 3 plats avec 2 choix pour chacun. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
