Al principio puede ser un poco chocante llegar al hotel entre tantos callejones oscuros PERO luego te das cuenta de que así es Varanasi y ese es su encanto. Es un hostal agradable. Buena comida y una señora muy atenta siempre pendiente de que todo este bien contigo. Yo me volveria a hospedar nuevamente aquí.

Great Experience. Very good price. The rooms are very clean and you have two towels. The guest house is very nice located in the old town so you can easily reach all the popular attractions convenient. You also have an easy access to the ghats.

Average hotel with basic amenities. There are rooms with common washroom and with attached bathroom as well. Room has AC, fan and basic bedding. No TV, water, tea coffee maker. Location of the place is excellent, just on the ghat with a view of river Ganga. This is the best thing about this place. Staff was courteous. I didn’t eat much but whatever i ate was good enough. As this is near to ghats you will have to walk or take a two wheeler to reach to the place.

perfect place to explore Varanasi next to the ghat of the Ganges ceremonies. Nice and clean rooms, clean bathroom, great terrace with a view of the Ganges, all in all we felt very comfortable.If we come to Varanasi again, we would definitely come here again

Very well maintained resthouse with a beautiful view of the Holy Ganges. The staff is very cooperative and helpful they also have a lovely cafe overlooking the ghats which serves a variety of cuisines. The best part is the location of the place.

Great place next to ganga river.. bit noise at night.. but is a very good choice. Have a Sol cafe in the same building which offers a perfect food and nice coffee. Perfect to come out and walk in the side of ganga. Great view of the river from the balcony

The staff are friendly and nice at this place. However, the rooms had no heating and just an a/c. We were freezing! We were provided with plenty of blankets but we wondered if they actually washed the sheets and blankets. My friend had bed bug bites across her face and arms. I caught a bad cold. Our pillows were rock hard and so were the matresses. You are unable to get there directly by car. The car has to park on the main road and you have to carry your luggage through narrow dirty streets for 6 to 8 minutes. So the place is tucked away. As stated previously, the staff are friendly and nice and the views of the Ganges from this place are the best. I feel this place would suit backpackers the most.

Vishnu Rest House was a perfect accommodation for our stay in Varanasi, very nice and clean rooms, very impressive terrace on the Ganges. We recommend it for an authentic experience in one of India's holiest cities. Very friendly and helpful staff, we recommend it very much! A hug from Italy, Claudia and Edo.

Wonderful quaint property right on the ghat. Dasashwamedh is 5 min walk ***** the ghat. Food in the bylanes is superb. One word of caution is that the entry to rest house is quite a maze from bangali tola and there s a high chance you ll get lost , but you can call up the rest house and they ll send. Awesome to escort you back and forth. Overall great place and great value for money
