We spent 4 days in Apt for a cycling trip. The hotel is located right next to the Cavalon cycle route and the tourist office. The hotel has a protected room to park bicycles securely. The team is friendly and provides lots of tourist and practical advice. The suites are well equipped and allow you to cook quick meals if you don't want to go out to dinner, or if you're feeling hungry after a long bike ride. The breakfast is quite well stocked, with excellent bread from a nearby bakery.

Wow wow wow. Having just finished a marriage ceremony in Tarascon…. What a welcome zen for us all. Francois Ben and Paco were truly the best hosts and could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was a chore. We desperately needed some chill time and this was done with the best in service at a beautiful property. We all have been welcomed and looked after with a family who deserve the best reviews. Breakfasts were great and often organised at different times to suit. Will definitely be going back.

Chateau de Mazan, BW Premier Collection
Chateau de Mazan, BW Premier CollectionChateau de Mazan, BW Premier Collection
Mazan Time of the Wise Hotels
This elegant 18th century building is where we will welcome you in a sumptuous setting combining history, charm, gastronomy and comfort. The property was built circa 1715, during Frances early Regency period. The most notorious individual within these four walls was, of course, the Marquis de Sade and his Family. His father and his uncle, the well-known Abbe de Sade, were both born in this place. Although he spent most of his life in Paris, it was there in the Chateau de Mazan, in 1772, that the Marquis organized the very first Theatre Festival in France. The plays in which he personally performed were shown on both Mazan and Lacoste castles. During the Revolution, Sade was declared persona non grata in Mazan, the Family archives were destroyed and the Chateau was damaged. After the Revolution, the Chateau remained Sades Family property until 1850. Its use has varied from this date. Initially it was a private residence and later the Chateau played host to a religious school. In 1923, it became Mazan old people house which finally closed in 1999. In early 2001, the Chateau was turned into a hotel. The Elegant Property Collection Team bought it in August 2019 and started a full renovation of the property to restore its magnificent setting. From April 10th 2020, this historical place will reopen for the enjoyment of our guests and offering an authentic historical experience in the heart of Provence. The property, situated in the heart of the Village, has 31 rooms divided in the main building and in an old house (dated back 1695) facing it. Renovated in 2019/2020, the decoration has returned at the origins of the Chateau de Mazan and Louis XV style with a contemporary Provence touch. A special attention have been brought to the garden which has recovered its original setting. Respect of the History, elegance and refinement, Provence spirit are the keys of what the property offers.

Mazan is not very famous in southern France. It is one of many small towns. But it's right on the way to Sault. That is to say, on the way to the lavender tour. The hotel was formerly the private residence of a local lord and was later transformed into a hotel. The public areas of the hotel are decorated with French neoclassical elegance and romance, but the interiors of the rooms are relatively simple. The classic rooms do not even have a decent table, and the bathroom only has a separate tub in the middle of the room. , relatively inconvenient. We booked a classic room. Maybe because we were Asians, we arranged it in the north-facing location closest to the storage room. We wanted to change it but failed. They said that the room I booked only had this orientation. The question is, are there only one or two classic rooms? ? Unless you add another 79 euros, you can change to another room. Later I found out that I was still on the same floor after paying extra. Changing the direction in such a remote place would cost so much that we rationally gave up. However, I have to say that the lobby manager of the hotel is very dedicated. We needed to print our boarding passes when we left the hotel. It happened to be a very busy check-out time. He really tried his best to help us, which reflected the gentleness of a French gentleman and the hotel. Professionalism of managers.

The room is very large and very comfortable... also very clean service. Parking is free. Absolutely enough to use the terrace. Very comfortable. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from Avignon. It is convenient for the first time because it is not a self-driving Avignon hotel. The price is more than twice that of this house. The room is not so big.

Straight off the autoroute and you are in a commercial zone that could be anywhere. What's nice about this gated hotel is that it has little touches of Provence in the outside seating areas, complete with water features. There was plenty of free parking on site, and though there is a surcharge to use the leisure facility (small swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room), it was great to have this option available to us after a long drive. The restaurant was closed during our stay (Covid times) but there seemed to be plenty of options in the area and 15 mins from Avignon. The rooms are motel-like and a bit like containers, so although we couldn't really hear noise from the road, we could hear the loud voices and TVs till 3am, though the hotel did their best to ask people to be quiet. All in all, if you are looking for somewhere just off the motorway, and don't mind the lack of character, then this place is fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful too.

I stayed at the Avignon Grand Hotel with my partner from 12 to 16 September 22 there were however a number of short comings. The first of these was that the room we had been provided with was infested with mosquitoes - we had discovered this in the middle of the night after hearing the typical mosquito sounds and in the morning we had noticed we had numerous mosquito bites on our bodies. I had complained to the hotel front desk, the staff however appeared dismissive, my fundamental point to them was that the room should have been properly disinfected of the insects prior to making it available to customers. Secondly, breakfast in the hotel was of the bare minimum, in terms of hot cooked food , only bacon and scrambled eggs were available, the latter was of poor quality and almost resembled a paste as the eggs were cooked in far too much cream and milk.Cereal, bread, croissants, yogurt and some fruit were also available. No hot water was available in the hotel in the morning of the 16 September 22. Lastly, all the TV channels were in French, not even one channel was available in English. We had booked this hotel on the understanding it was of 4 stars, given however the shortcomings above together with the standard and quality that were below customer expectations it is difficult to see how the 4 star rating and price being charged was justified.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we received Cambre del Maestro at first floor. This Mas is part of Les Collectionneurs and entering here seems like you are home or in your very good friend’s home. Everything is authentic and well positioned, in a peacefull place, just over the street there is a meadow where there were two white horses( like a story…). We also had a elegant bathroom with all amenities, very clean. The single minus was that there was not a little fridge in the room - the weather was so hot-but Mara helped us by keeping some beer and water in them fridge. This Mas has a wonderful yard with a large swimming pool, with and amazing view of Falaise de la Madeleine, pool beds, umbrellas. Breakfast is so “french” : different kind of bread, croissants, different kind of confiture, butter, fruits, cakes, yogurt and -the most important- a very good coffee. We also had the possibility to make tea, coffee all day long, we found limonade at swimming pool, water, etc. Everything was excellent , the owners Mara and Jerome are very kind and helpful. We mad enew friends : Jango and Shippy - the dog and the cat - the real owners of Mas aux Cedre. I recommand staying here and for sure we’ll come back.

GGuest UserThe location was perfect - situated right next to City Hall. The staff was friendly, and we really appreciate the bottle of rose and olive oil as presents to celebrate our anniversary. The room size was petite, but it is on par with the hotel rooms we stayed in France, although the bathroom here was pretty large. There was a bit of a miscommunication with our to-go breakfast, but it got resolved quickly.

GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern. The restaurant was a plus. The room was fine, except the internet had really slow connection. Did not like sharing a room when there was a bathroom with no sink (how do you watch your hands when your roommate is in the shower area?). The shower area had only a curtain - so no sound protection. Could not get the room cold enough even with the lowest setting for temperature and the fan on high. We were both too hot.

GGuangtoucaiThis hotel is very interesting. The car drove to the door, that is, the door could not be found, and the navigation showed that it was here. We repeatedly looked for it. The car slowly approached the door and the door slowly opened automatically. After entering, there are full of luxury cars, which makes people feel the so-called ”low luxury”.

GGuest UserThis was a fantastic location to stay close to Avignon, but with easy parking and spacious rooms. It is secured at night with closed gates, and the rooms look over the golf course. The host at reception was welcoming and helpful and the rooms were spacious, and well laid out. They are a little tired in terms of decor, which shows in places like the tile grout and wear on benchtops, but it was inexpensive, clean and excellent value for money. I recommend it and would book it again.

JJojoEverything is very good at the hotel, the decoration and sanitary conditions are not bad, but there are big problems at the front desk of the hotel. Not all front desk staff, but a thin middle-aged man on duty between 10pm and 11pm at the front desk was very rude. When he returned to the hotel at about 10pm on January 7, 2022, he found the door closed and rang the bell, but there was no one at the front desk. So I pressed the bell a few times, and after a while the tall, middle-aged man on duty came to the door and yelled at me as a customer, then argued with me and accused me of ringing the bell as a customer almost woke the hotel (After telling another front desk staffer the next day, the staff said the ringing was displayed on the phone with the front desk and staff, and strangely, the staff member didn't hear me through the phone while ringing last night Wait a minute, so I rang the bell a few more times). I was uncomfortable expressing the staff's attitude and the yelling seemed to be treating a madman, who replied, ”Yes, it's treating a madman.” In summary, it is not so simple to ring the bell. The professional accomplishment of the staff, and the waiting for people to receive things, obviously do not meet the needs of the hotel staff, and the face of different guests obviously feel racial discrimination, have complained, Waiting for a response from the hotel. Think twice about booking this hotel, and meeting the thin high school man can be extremely uncomfortable.

GGuest UserThis was my second time to stay at Hotel Boquier in beautiful Avignon. It is a charming boutique hotel in an old building located about a five-minute walk from the train station in one direction and also an easy to walk to all of the main sites. I chose to stay there a second time because Frederic and the staff are so kind, attentive, and meticulous. They are very helpful and take wonderful care of you. The rooms are kept clean and well maintained, and the breakfast room is well-stocked and provides a pleasant, cozy place to eat in the morning. I also love their house cats in the lobby and the pleasant conversations each day. I highly recommend the Hotel Boquier.

SSHENGXINThis hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location.

GGuest UserGood morning to you who read these lines. With regard to this establishment, I would say that with regard to its host and friendly part, it is a good one. Indeed, the staff, whether at the telephone or at the reception, is pleasant and warm. In the first place, the room was very well prepared and the room was very well prepared. The shower flexes are not quite well filled with water, but in its animation part we have not been disappointed! In the beginning of the evening, we are participating in the re-distribution of a tele-hack with the neighbours of the next room. Finally, you must tell you that I'm wrong, and you'd have right. In the second small part of the night, at 1:00 a.m., fire alarm. Chouette, I who wanted to live a lively stay rich in emotions, I was served. L'évacuation est donc donnée mais mince, pas d'animateur présent à l'extérieur et aucun participant ne souhaite participer à cet événement. After several minutes without news, and different calls to the reception, we learn that the keys of the alarm were unfindable, what happiness. The hotel is a very nice hotel, and it is a very nice hotel. How many events this evening, I suppose, remain of a very exceptional nature.
