The castle is smaller than expectation. The swimming pool is closed and there is not so many to see and walk around. There is only one towel for 2 persons? 🤔🤔

Nous nous sommes mariés au Domaine de la Tortinière et ça a été un sans faute. Nos invités ont été enchantés pas le lieu et le diner du mariage a fait l'unanimité.. Nous avions réservés une chambre pour mes parents âgés, qui ont été ravi de découvrir des pétales de roses sur leur lit ( pensant certainement que la chambre était pour nous) et le lendemain matin un copieux petit déjeuner les attendait. Nous tenons a remercier toutes les personnes qui ont pris part à l'organisation de notre mariage.

The hotel is a delight. We had a large and very nicely furnished and clean ‘Elegence’ room with, most importantly, a large comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained and beautifully presented. Wonderfully dog friendly and with charming and very polite helpful staff. Restaurant food and wine list, while not inexpensive, is delicious and worth the treat. All in all a fantastic hotel and one that we will return to on our annual drive down to Spain.

It's beautiful outside but I really hated my room. I had upgraded to a larger room with a turret and had high hopes from the description. The bathroom was tiny and unpleasant. The toilet was literally in a closet on the other side of the room from the bathroom and it had a sink but no towel rack. The actual bathroom was just a mess every time I showered as it was impossible not to get everything soaking wet with their placement of the handheld/overhead shower. The towers The bed was in a turret - ok it's cute. But it really ends there.. Staff was fine but not the most helpful. Everything seems to be an inconvenience for them. I would stay elsewhere.

What a beautiful chateau. We only spent one night there in their guest house but what an amazing place and grounds. We had a wonderful lunch outside in the gardens but unfortunately did not have dinner there. Next time!! Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
