We stayed for a week and were pleased. The staff was so nice. The shower had instant hot water. The layout of the room was great, though didn’t like the sliding bathroom door. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved having the full size refrigerator. Beach is close by. Only reason I didnt rate 5 star is because it has a little bit of a worn appearance. We will return again in the future! Thank You!

With everyone coming out of the pandemic and beginning to travel again this hotel is above and beyond expectations, speaking as a previous Courtyard by Marriott in Glenwood Springs, CO. They have a full breakfast, with eggs, a protein, as well as a stir-fry starch - with all the regular offerings such as yogurt, pastries, an assortment of juices, and fresh coffee at the touch of a button. Their front desk staff if wonderful - Pedro makes you feel welcome and at home, no matter your background or how long your stay is. This place is truly a home away from home. If your room is not ready yet, you are welcome to sit in their lounge, connect to WiFi, or even enjoy yourself by the pool (towels provided) - they even have a hot tub, and the ability to help disabled individuals into the pool. Housekeeping is wonderful and full of life and a passion for their job. I am on an extended stay, as I apply and interview for jobs back in Colorado, and my car is even being transported out to here. I have felt very welcome, as has my dog Bruce Wayne. I am a licensed clinician and have traveled a lot around the country and this is one of my favorite Choice properties. They sell out on the weekends, so be sure to make your booking early. They even have a few rooms with whirlpools if you really want to treat yourself. It has been a blessing to come across this place, that is pet-friendly, and the staff all make you feel welcome. I can't say enough positives about this property - and there's been no problems with water pressure or the WiFi connectivity. The BBQ grill out back is a wonderful touch, and allows you to save some money by cooking dinner right at your accommodation. Bravo! Encore! Thank you for all you do.
We’re located minutes from beaches such as Siesta Key Beach. Palm Arcade and Sarasota Pavilion are a 10-minute walk. TPC Prestancia Golf and Social Club, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and Skiers' Island are within six miles. The Ringling Museum of Art is 20 minutes away. Enjoy our complimentary beach shuttle, outdoor pool, and poolside tiki bar.

The pool is very nice with lots of activities for adults and kids like connect four , chess and a bar . The hotel was comfy and the price was worth the stay . Everyone was very friendly . The breakfast was pretty good with some fruits , bagels , waffles , pancakes , omelet, yogurt , some pastries , juice and coffee . I would definitely stay again!

This is truly a tropical paradise. Driving up to the property, you'd never imagine what is behind the wall of palms/greenery that surrounds the resort. It's a small property (approximately 20 rooms??) but packs a HUGE punch and gives you the vibe that you're in Jamaica at an exclusive tiki resort. It is magical at night with all the twinkle lights overhead, meandering pathways, and firepits. There is an ice machine, communal washer/dryer, screened-in room for games/shade, a small BBQ area with table and chairs, covered tiki huts for shade, plenty of loungers and hammocks, two pools (one adults only), a public restroom near the main pool, yard games such as tic-tac-toe and cornhole, beach chairs for borrow, books for borrow, bikes for borrow, an outdoor shower for rinsing after the pool, on and on. We were in a Key Suite which was 450 sq ft with a full kitchen. The room looked lik it was recently renovated with updated flooring and granite countertops and had plenty of room for three adults. There was one king bed and a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is small but we made do. Isaac at the front desk was very helpful at check-in and offered recommendations and explained the property. I didn't realize how much I would LOVE this little resort. Location is perfect. You're one mile from the bridge that brings you over to Siesta Key (south side). If you go, you will know!!
DdmankanWe booked two nights for Christmas 2023 and management blocked out a room with two queen beds and an accessible tub. Upon arrival we learned that our room had been painted and was not available. They did not have another room with two queens and an accessible tub. They also did not notify us before arrival so that we could possibly make other arrangements. We ended up in a room with two queen beds and a roll-in shower. The roll-in shower has no shower chair. The sink has no level surface, and there is no side table to put your stuff while getting ready. The door swings inward so far that it is very difficult to enter/exit and open/close the door. The queen beds take up most of the room in the sleeping area and there is not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair. There is a tall closet for hanging clothes but the doors swing outward so a wheelchair user is not able to open it. The rod to hang clothes is too high to reach. There are no drawers for storage anywhere in the room. Not related to ADA, the shades would not close all the way so there was about 2-3 feet of open window that was not covered. The mattress was not comfortable. The room does not have enough lighting and is too dark. Cosmetically, the hotel is older and has a lot of scratches and dents. It needs a lot more than a coat of paint. We have stayed in a lot of Holiday Inn’s and Express’s, and this was by far the worst. After notifying management, they credited a whopping $50 for our inconvenience. On the plus side, the food was good (they even had sausage gravy for the biscuits) and the staff was very friendly.
GGuest UserI'm writing this with the framework that our reservation for four days was following Hurricane Ian so that a reader can understand that, yes, we did try to have understanding that some chaos goes along with people in need of rooms. Having said that... I am a local resident of Venice, and was in need of a room after coming back in town seeing some destruction to our home following the hurricane. I arrived just before 3 PM, thinking that was check-in time, but, mistakenly, it was an unusually late 4 PM. I came back in an hour (with no forewarning the first time there were any issues to speak of) to learn that the room was not ready. I was told to come back ”later” (whatever that is interpreted to mean). I could not even be given an educated estimate. I came back at 5 PM, and no room available. I drove around (with 1/8 tank of gas and no gas stations open) and came back at 7 PM. NO ROOMS available. it was only then I was told they were ”short staffed”. I have an open mind. I see the shortage of help all over from restaurants to general contractors to, yes, hotels. The curtness of the personnel I had dealt with and lack of compassion (on their part) is what rubbed me wrong. After questioning why my room was not ready at 7 PM (not a typo), a women stepped into the conversation (may have been the manager?) and curtly asked if I have ever tried to check into a hotel during a hurricane and I was quick to reply yes (Andrew, Irma, and Matthew). I had not ever come to this sort of issue in terms of not having a room available in addition to the clear defensiveness of the staff (referring only to the people I had dealt with). Hotels are QUICK to make sure you check out by 11 AM but not so big a deal to check in well into the evening. My wife and I cancelled our reservations and slept in our car in our driveway for the night. Note: I was forced to make a separate 30-minute call to Wyndham to cancel due to points being used (more on this later). At this point, I've a little bit to now say about Wyndham. I'm a loyal member (actually, Diamond). ”Early check-in”, while not guaranteed, is all but guaranteed at competing brands of which I was also at top tiers including: Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG. If the room is not available (and clearly in my case it was not), then those brands would have a room guaranteed available at the time of standard check in. Always (meaning, including hurricane evacuations). Not the case with Wyndham. They have shown to most always not support their top-tier customers and say that ”each individual hotel is privately operated (ie, franchised), and you will have to contact the hotel”. Ramada handled this poorly, and Wyndam is indifferent. I should have known to avoid a Ramada, having last stayed at a horrific Ramada Inn in Augusta, GA. Never again. Good riddance to both.
GGuest UserI was pretty disappointed when the lyft driver pulled into the lot. I thought the place looked pretty run down. I stayed for 3 nights. The room was small and not well lit. The room was clean, and had a micro fridge, a microwave, and a decent T.V. Small hand soaps only-no shampoo or conditioner. The AC worked well. There is a laundry room onsite. They have a small outside pool that looked clean. Desk staff was okay at best. Within walking distance of a convenience store, a Burger King and a CVS. Small stand-up shower only. It is what it is, which is a budget hotel. I would stay at a place like this if I was traveling by myself. I would not take my family there if I could afford a better option.
