Family-friendly Hotels in Venice

Except location, everything is excellent and I’ll rate 10/10. The campus is really nice , rooms are excellent , staffs are polite. There is a restaurant, mini market within where you can get almost all basic items . How I can forget about the swimming pool where you can chill in a hot summer day. I booked the hotel for 3 days but I wish iI could stay there for more days. The only problem is you need to walk 1.5 km to nearest bus stop from where there is direct bus to main attraction Venice city centre.As I don’t have any problem in walking 1.5 km , it is not a problem for me.

The hotel is very convenient to Venice's main attractions and can be reached on foot, but Venice's transportation is more expensive. You can only take a water bus from the train station to the hotel. Great location and a great hotel. We arrived very early before check-in and was greeted by reception. All of the formalities were gone through quickly and off we went to explore. We got the a phone call later on about 40 mins before formal checkin time to say our room was ready. The room was very nice and clean with everything you’d need. We were on the ground floor with our windows out on to the street so was probably louder than other floors and views.

There is a certain distance from the train station to the hotel. There is a bridge on the road. For people with large luggage, this distance is quite difficult. Fortunately and unfortunately, we met a ”kind-hearted person” who rushed to push the luggage and blackmailed us. So you must take the luggage yourself. Don't accept any enthusiastic help. It is likely to be blackmailed. The hotel balcony can see the canal. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat from the hotel. There is a beautiful garden in the backyard of the hotel, adjacent to the park, which is completely different from the canal in front. Breakfast is served in the garden with rich varieties. Without the boat festival, the hotel is really expensive😂

Take a water taxi from the hotel to the airport, 130 Euros and board the boat directly from the side door of the hotel lobby, which is very convenient. When I came to the hotel, I didn’t understand. I took the water bus, 15 euros per person. The bus stopped when it saw the station. The boat was full of people. It took an hour to get to the St. Mark’s Square station. I got off the boat and walked 300 meters with my suitcase. After about 10 meters, we crossed the Bridge of Sighs and arrived at the hotel. It's not very convenient. If you take a water taxi for 130 Euros from the airport, you can go directly to the side entrance of the hotel lobby in 20 minutes.

The location is superb as it is just next to the train station. Though the cozy room is a little small, the ambience and cleanliness has made up for the small room area. Counter and serving staff are exceptionally helpful and polite! If you don’t require housekeeping service, you will be entitled to 2 glasses of house wine at the hotel lounge. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

The location is near the Venice Arsenal, very close to the Venice Biennale, and less than ten minutes away from Piazza San Marco, which is very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable, the service is timely, and the hygiene is not bad. But the breakfast is not very appetizing, and there are no disposable toothbrushes provided. Staying here is like staying in someone's private Palazzo, a very unique experience! We do have a private dock for the taxi, the waterbus stop is rights outside the main door. We are a family friendly property even if we don't have any connecting room. But we can easily book one room next to the other or a very big Suite or Junior Suite! It is a bit far from St. Mark's Basilica, but there is a water bus stop opposite the hotel, and the hotel can also call a taxi. It is more convenient to stay close to the train station in Venice. If you stay close to the church, it is too inconvenient to carry luggage, and there are too many tourists in Venice, and it is very noisy near the scenic area. This hotel is a good choice on the main island.
