I loved this hotel! Clean and a great location. Convenient to get to both the train and the bus stations. Would absolutely recommend.

We stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon at this hotel, the only window was in the bathroom, the whole room was very dark coz no windows.. old facility as you can see on the wall etc.. not recommended for people who want romantic experience in Venice.

Hotel Principe is located strategically near the train station and grand canal. We spent 2 nights here recently and were upgraded to grand canal view room, thanks a lot! The room was clean, bed is comfortable and view is amazing. Room is also quiet once window is closed, even though facing the grand canal. Bathroom is big and clean, however there’s no sinkhole in the bathroom which ia very weird, and create problem when water splashed out when we are showering (which definitely will happen) so this need to be fixed. Breakfast selections and quality were alright, we like the freshly made pancake machine. Overall, this hotel is recommended if you’re planning to stay in Venice.

Close to the train station and the ferry piers. Just come out from the hotel, you can find supermarket, restaurants, cafes and shops. Classic design of the room. Staff are helpful and the breakfast is great.

The hotel is showing its age 

Location good. Rooms need renovation. I am 6,3 and I couldn’t fit in the shower it was tiny. For a 4* star hotel at least a complementary water should be offered. Receptionists were slightly arrogant. Average hotel but good for the money we pay.

The showerroom is terrible that incredibly narrow and without glasswall to prevent water from flowing over around. Everything is old and service is terrible.

Great location close to the train station, great room with canal view, but bed sheet seems to be abit dusty.

Fabulously convenient esiexially if traveling bt train! Breakfast is fanulous! Room and bed was very comfortable. We had a canal view which was amazing! Would stay again!

I recommend this hotel %100. The location is excellent, the staff at the hotel is amazing, super clean and the food is pretty good! I will give 10 stars to the breakfast buffet. It’s delicious!! Thank you for everything!

Decent stay, great view and location. Breakfast was great too. But room size is a bit too small, and the toilet had a very bad smell throughout the stay

Very close to the train statio. no climbing stairs or going through the bridges.
