Check in process is a bit confusing, like playing a game haha. There are free drinks and a lot of free snacks.

Amazing

This place is a real gem in Venice.
Location
Location is very good, walkable distance to anywhere (10 mins to Piazza San Marco/St. Mark’s Square). Lots to eat in the vicinity and lots of interesting art galleries on the street.
Room
Our place was on the top floor and consisted of two rooms. Both had classical decoration. Our daughter especially loved her room. Our room was also very romantic. Bathroom is modern and brand new.
Check-in/Staff
Entrance and check-in is automatic, very easy and hassle-free. The hosts are always reachable and answer via phone/Whatsapp immediately in case of questions. Easy communication in English.
Price/Performance Ratio
Impressive. Everything was better than other hotels in Venice that we paid double the price.
Extras
Lots to eat and drink. Complimentary coffee, croissants, crackers, water, orange juice etc.
Downside
The only downside was having to carry the luggage two floors, but I guess that’s common in Venice.

Right next to the dock.
I had read the reviews beforehand, so I knew how to enter.
Excellent rooms, very large and specially furnished. It was nice to have a bathtub. I slept very well on the large bed.
The only problem was that there was no elevator. It was very difficult to carry a heavy suitcase up the narrow stairs to the 3rd floor.

Ca dell Arte is fabulous, it’s in a quiet location but easy walk to the shops , restaurants and ferries. The staff were lovely and so helpful booking us water taxis and giving helpful advice on tours and anything we needed , nothing was too much trouble, excellent service especially from Barnaba. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are great also, they’re are very clean and beds so comfy. Highly recommended. Only thing is there are stairs , however Barnaba carried out cases up to our room for us. This is not like a hotel but more like suites , so it is not manned 24/7, was no issue at all

Amazing hotel. Really comfortable beds and immaculate. Mark couldn’t do enough during our stay. So grateful we found this little gem! Within easy reach of St Marks approx 10 min walk. Very close to the Teatro La Fenice and the Vaperetto. I would really recommend and would book again in a heartbeat. Loved our stay. Just perfect.

The place was very difficult to find. Pros Decorated Nicely Convenient to the water taxi Decently located Decorated ok Cons No elevator No English speaking channels The “city” view was looking at a rusty rooftop Fridge didn’t get cold The absolute worst bed any human could sleep on. So we found out we could upgrade of course and we got charged more. I probably would have been ok if they didn’t charge more for this. We moved into a room that was very hot, yet did have a smart tv for us to sign into Netflix The ceiling in the living room at its highest point was 6’3”. I could not stand up straight The patio was a mosquito pit.

We stayed in the apartment - it was conveniently located. We did find it hard to locate initially. The rooms were good size and clean. The cleaning team very helpful if we needed anything. We were able to store our luggage as we had a late flight.

What a gem of a place! - Very Venitian, small and friendly. Breakfast was offred at a nearby Theatre cafe, some 8 minute walk. Lovely choice of both sweet and savoury croissants and toasted sandwiches, plus fresh tea and coffee. Ca' dell Arte is situated close to Accademia bridge and well located for exploring Venice in all its beauty.

Fantastic hotel. In the heart of all the best places to visit. We were blown away with our room and the facilities. Exceptionally cleaned and very comfortable. Only downside is having to walk to get breakfast which we didn't take advantage of. Would highly recommend

Avoid this hotel. This hotel is a fraud. I booked 2 nights for an apartment but they sold me a small room without toilet and kitchen. They said they would refund but refused my refund claim via **********.

I will start with the positives. The hotel is situated in a good location, not far from the water and St Marks square, and is extremely quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and we received complementary breakfast every morning. This breakfast was basic but included a mix of breads with cheese and hams, croissants, and yogurt. It started us off well for the day. I always do a lot of research before booking a hotel, and picked this hotel as from the website and reviews, it appeared the rooms were spacious and unique. I particularly liked how every room was featured and I was looking forward to seeing how our room would be designed. However, when we arrived, our room was in the loft with a sloping ceiling. This meant the room had limited space and also lacked design. This was a real disappointment. We banged our heads on the beams on multiply occasions throughout our stay and had to almost crawl to the mini bar. The room door was also glass so was not sound proof at all. We had disturbed sleep every night with other guests coming and going from their rooms ( some rooms had a keypad which made a buzzing noise when opened), guests in their room ( we could hear the guests in the room next door - they had crying children and also a glass door!), and the staff. This was a special holiday with my boyfriend proposing and we wanted a luxury feel which we definitely did not receive. I also emailed ahead to ask whether the rooms had an iron. I was assured that all rooms had an iron, however our room didn’t and to be honest there was not much space to even iron. I saw two of the other rooms while the maids cleaned and was impressed with the size and also the design. I would recommend this hotel if you could guarantee you didn’t have the loft room. We had a lovely holiday but the room was a real disappointment.

My boyfriend booked a trip to Venice for my birthday, and my word did he score a winner with this hotel. The location is perfect - there is a water bus stop at the end of the street, about a 2 minute walk that goes to San Marco Square. The hotel itself is spotless, couldn’t fault it at all. Cleanliness is top notch. Bed is huge and super comfortable. My one improvement would be to have thicker bed sheets during the colder months - I think I saw one in the top of the wardrobe but wasn’t sure if this had a cover on it so didn’t use it. The room we had - “Deco” was so a really good size. Two windows both with traditional shutters that blocked out all light which was absolutely fantastic. Bathroom really clean and a really good size. Area is really quiet so you can truly get a really decent nights sleep. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Venice, and would also definitely return.
