To spend a quick weekend in Venice with my daughter I booked this property. The "inn" is practically a stone's throw from Piazza S. Marco, very close to the S. Marzo - Zaccaria stop. The structure is small and very well looked after and very clean both in the common areas and in the room. The room was exactly as described on the booking site, although small it was comfortable, as was the bathroom; equipped with TV, air conditioning and minibar (with 2 bottles of water and nothing else). Breakfast was excluded from our offer. reservation and I asked about availability for gluten-free breakfast and I was told it was available; we paid it at the hotel at a cost of 14 euros which, honestly, for 1 packet of saiwa gold, a packaged plumkake and 4 rusks, seems a bit excessive to me. The breakfast room is a very small room with 5 tables for 2 people quite crowded together (I had the window sash hitting my neck) with a kitchen offering coffee, tea, etc. and on a table bread, butter, croissants and eggs, jams on the table... nothing salty. The staircase to reach the rooms on the 2nd and third floors is really very narrow and steep and I don't think it is suitable for everyone, the risk of falling is quite high; to get down we had to hold on to the handrail. The windows of the room overlooked Campo Santi Filippo e Giacomo and in the evening, with the bars and restaurants etc... there was quite a lot of noise until late. Overall a good structure with friendly and helpful staff (the reception is not manned 24 hours a day and in the evening, if you leave after 8pm, you have to take your keys with you) which is fine for a quick night; the price is slightly high, but we are in Venice in June and it can be tolerated. I wasn't bad, but I don't think I would go back even if there were no problems; reaches the sufficiency or just above right for courtesy and cleanliness.
