After a 30 minute walk we got to the hotel only to find out our room was in a separate building that was 10 blocks away! They stored our luggage for a couple of hours and when we ask to use the restroom we were told it was ‘only for people staying at the hotel’, the staff was quite rude. The room itself was confortable.

My experience with the hotel overall was good. The room is well located, in the heart of Venice. The blanket that covered the bed bothered me a little, as it seemed very old to me. I had a problem with the guest who was in another room because as the bathroom was shared, when I went to take a shower at 11pm the guest in the other room complained that we were taking a shower late and asked us to take a shower earlier.

The price is in Venice, which is considered a mid-range price, the room is clean as a whole, and the bathroom has obviously been renovated. The hotel Yousheng is in the city center, 6 minutes away from the pier, and about 15 minutes walk to the train station.

The room was upgraded so it was comfortable. The location is far from the station, but it's close to the center, so you don't have to worry about restaurants.

We booked an "apartment for 2 with bathroom" at Hotel Ariel Silva. The booking was for Calle della Masena 1391/A which was supposed to be opposite the hotel building where the check-in was. When we arrived there, they told us our apartment was in fact in a completely different part of Venice (800 m away) and they had no availabilities at the closer place. I had booked the room particularly because it was quite close to the station but now we had a super long walk. Assuming I might have done something wrong when booking and not having any other options, we took the room only to noticed when we got there that it had a SHARED bathroom! On top, the furniture was old, the tablecloth had a big hole, the bed was in fact a sofa bed (see pictures) and the fridge plus boiler were so noisy we had to turn them off to be able to sleep. Luckily we only spent one night. The neighbor we had to share the bathroom with was the most noisy person getting in and out of his room every 10-20 min for the whole night! I don't know what kind of business he had on the streets but this was not a normal hotel guest or tourist. We hardly got any sleep that night. We tried to get a compensation for our wrong room but the hotel was very unhelpful. Showing them screenshots of our booking didn't help. They kept insisting we got the room we booked. Just a total disaster! I feel scammed!

Great location, staff extremely helpful. Close to all the sights in Venice AND a 10 minute walk from the Venice train station. Clean rooms with WiFi and great staff. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Venice, close to local markets for snacks in the hotel room, restaurants and gelato shops aplenty.

Good cleanliness - fresh towels and serviced daily. It is difficult sharing a bathroom with other rooms however. The bathroom was extremely small and poky, you couldn’t sit on the toilet without your legs knocking into the bath. I’m 5’3 and very slim build so there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to fit on the toilet without having to sit sideways. The lady on reception was friendly. It does the job but is not luxurious but worth it.

It was an okay hotel. The lady working there was really nice. The hotel itself was in a weird side alley next to a restaurant. The walls were really thin too so you could hear everything at night. However, it was clean and I felt fairly safe, so for the low cost I say it was of value.

We were scared by the fact that check-in is until 22:30, and then there is a 30€ surcharge for late check-in. I never found out, because I flew in at 22:27 and the pouring rain forced me to do it faster than the wind from the bus station, where I landed at 22:15. The train station is accordingly a couple of minutes even closer. I was leaving just from here, so my choice of hotel fell on hotels near these objects. I paid for breakfast separately, 10 € per person (I didn’t go somewhere else in the rain). For such a hotel it’s very good: tea-coffee-water, bread, ham-sausage-cheese, pastries, yogurt, muesli. I was pleased with the radiator in the room and in the bathroom, it was very useful for me in this weather. there is also a condo. and I even had two windows on different sides. although the room is tiny: bed, wardrobe, nightstand; but everything with such taste. The bathroom is beautiful, pressure and hot water are good and new, there is even a hygienic shower. but please note: the shower cabin may not be suitable for larger people. I was fine. there are two shops around the corner: spar in a former theater with frescoes on the ceiling; opposite it, don’t miss the coop, it just stretches deep into the carriage. There's a pharmacy right there and a bunch of restaurants. I walked slowly to San Marco, looking around, for about 20 minutes, it was a pleasure. and in the morning, while there was still not a soul, I walked to Orto, a vaporetto station, from where you can sail to the airport (just one stop, just 25 minutes). In the evening, upon check-in, the guy at the reception wished me good night in Russian (!) and even allowed me to pour some tea where breakfast was. I was touched, thank you. I'll be back if necessary. but if not here, then in Cannaregio for sure.

Very well located not very far from the station it allows you to get around easily I did not try the breakfast preferring to go to numerous cafes with Italian pastries The room is comfortable - there are larger rooms (it is I was in a single room)

The rooms for two do not correspond at all to the photos on the internet. We had booked a pretty baroque style room. We had a caravan style room with a tiny bathroom and shared toilets opposite our room so noisy. The reception is very poor since we asked why it did not correspond to the photo, we were told that we had better look at the photos since the pretty rooms are for 4. No photos of the rooms for two are shown on the internet. Breakfast was not offered to us but fortunately because they are cheaper in the city and very good. Easy to find location and quiet street. I do not recommend this hotel at all, especially for couples looking for a nice room for two.

Response from Property: Dear customer, you have booked the cheapest room with a non-private bathroom and therefore the style and the photo are not baroque as you say, (the Venetian style would be correct...). your booked room is in modern style just to clarify what you are talking about. If you wanted a superior room you could contact our front desk to change them for an upgrade but you probably would have said no as it costs more. We recommend that you check your reservations once confirmed without making unnecessary comments due to your room type error. A greeting
