STAY HERE!!!!! We were warmly greeted by the hotel host and informed of everything we needed. We arrived early so they put our luggage into the room when it was clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom amenities excellent. Breakfast was great. Location was PERFECT!!! So close to all the things we wanted to do in Venice. Thank you for making our time in Venice special.

Super nice well located hotel in the San Marco area. Yes, it is somewhat pricey as some reviews stated but so are most decent accommodations in the heart of Venice. Everything worked, impeccably clean and with an excellent breakfast. Valentina went out of her way to make us enjoy our first trip to Venice.

Comfy bed, good working AC, lovely shower. Fantastic location in the heart of Venice. The owner is amazing and made us feel at home! A special thank you to Sole the miniature Dachshund for our morning greetings at breakfast!

Rooms are tiny. For the price they charge it’s almost unfair to charge such an exuberant amount for a room that can’t even let you walk without jumping into things.location is great but tiny room ruined it. It’s definitely not a hotel. Calling it an inn is rather fair. Hostess was very kind and her caring demeanour showed her keenness to please us as her guests. This should be a $100 room not the price I paid. I paid way too high.

We cannot recommend Hotel Casa Petrarca enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, but the host’s dedication truly stood out on our departure day. Valentina went above and beyond, personally walking us to the water taxi and ensuring we got on in time to catch our flight, as there had been an issue contacting our original pre booked water taxi company. This level of care and attention is something we’ve never experienced before and made our trip even more special. The hotel’s location is ideal—right in the heart of Venice, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the major sights. The room size was perfect, offering a little seating area to relax after a day exploring. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Venice!

I booked this as a surprise for our 1st year wedding anniversary and I couldn’t have been happier with the communication, help and support from the 1st time we spoke to the last. Valentina and all the staff were extremely accommodating, kind & helpful. Everything about casa petrarca is ideal. Location and character is spot on with a more than pleasant breakfast and amenities ! We will certainly recommend to everyone and hopefully won’t be too long until we’re back exploring the lovely sites and surrounding areas Venice has to offer, using Casa Petrarca as our home from home ! I do recommend casa Petrarca. The location could not be better. Everything is so close. Our room was very spacious, we had two great views. One to a small canal, and the other to the street. We had comfy beds, and two chairs from where we could see the gondolas passing by. I got the room I requested Valentina. I was so happy when she reserved that room for us. Casa Petrarca was spotless, very clean. Valentina was a great host, always attentive and friendly. She recommended us places to go and restaurants when we asked about them. Thank you Valentina for a wonderful stay! We will visit again!!

This place is really nice! We opted for a shared bathroom which two rooms sharing but ended up just us using. Staff is really nice and helpful. Location is great so close to everything all walking distance. Room & bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is moderate but it was more than enough for us. Only reason we give 4 star is just a small hotel and to meet expectations of others. We really enjoyed here!
