Isola di San Servolo - Centro Soggiorno

Terribile. Premetto che viaggio per lavoro da oltre 20, in media dormo fuori casa almeno 120 notti all’anno e sono abituato ad adattarmi a qualsiasi situazione. Aspetto parrocchiale e tutto suona di vecchio. Aria condizionata inutile, fa rumore ma non fa freddo. Sporco nelle scale, sporco in corridoio, nelle camere e nel bagno. Prese che si staccano dai miri e ti restano in mano. Cuscino alto un paio di centimetri. Solo lenzuolo…non pretendevo il topper, ma per una questione igienica almeno il copri materasso.

We had lunch at the Robe da matti restaurant in San Servolo and were very satisfied with the welcome and kindness of the staff, the location and the service, the quality of the dishes, their presentation and the price: pumpkin gnocchi 13 euros, linguine with mussels 16.50, cod with black pepper 18. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay. The staff, the structure, the rooms, the connections to San Marco which can be reached in 10 minutes by vaporetto. Tranquility and silence. The asylum museum is beautiful. The "Robe da matti" restaurant is excellent. Having an island at your disposal is an unforgettable experience.

Rooms not reserved are not available. There are three of us but we offer you a camp bed. And when you ask to clean the room, surprise it’s not done!! In short, just happiness. we also offer the option of sleeping three people in a double bed.

I stayed a couple of days in this "hotel", alone... I must say it won me over, especially for the atmosphere... Beautiful place, a park island with several buildings scattered inside. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Silent, at dawn only the birds... Price more than adequate, almost cheap for Venice, but you have to take into account the price of the boat to get there (9.50 euros one way, 25 euros for a 24-hour ticket, 35 euros for 48 hours, etc etc), there is no other way except the taxi boat (but I think it costs even more... I don't know) Very spartan room, even if everything was there, including air conditioning and minibar, the single bed was very " convent cell", it was bright, but not very clean... Good breakfast, to be had at the attached restaurant, where I also had lunch and dinner (all excellent at an adequate price), but for this reason I was perhaps expecting a little more morning.... The structure in general would need a little more maintenance, but I realize that it is huge and also a little wild... and for a single person, in the evening, it can seem a little "disturbing" It's so quiet.. but in reality it's just a feeling, I had a great time.. It's a place to enjoy, where you don't have to rush, and it's true that the boat to S. Marco only takes 10 minutes but runs every 20 -30 minutes (even every hour in the evening) so if you miss the ride then you have to wait.. However, I would go back, I will go back, I can't wait to go back..

The island of San Servolo has proven to be a wonderful pearl even in winter, peace and tranquility everywhere. super breakfast, delicious and with a wide choice, nice rooms with eco-friendly furnishings, ferry that takes you to San Marco in just 10 minutes. Always friendly staff.

we stayed on 8 December, it is located on a small island in front of Piazza San Marco, easy to reach by public transport, a panoramic hotel with a beautiful park, clean even if the rooms have slightly old furniture, a nice restaurant with a good breakfast at morning
