Prezioso il servizio di noleggio bici.disponibilità per una nostra richiesta speciale:gentilissima la locandiera che ci ha aiutato oltre le aspettative.Affaccia su una deliziosa piazzetta che la sera diventa magica e si dorme molto tranquilli nel silenzio al cospetto di un lampadario che facilita i sogni. Claudia, is on another level of friendliness, the facilities exceeded my expectations, the only bad thing is that there is no dinner option and in the surrounding area there is a trattoria in which the treatment of tourists is not the best.

Lovely little hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Really nice to have breakfast included. We liked being on the Lido as opposed to staying in central Venice. The only down side is that there was only 1 place to eat in the evening near the hotel. The hotel is only 15 minute bus ride from ferry port though and there are lots of excellent restaurants there. We tended to be out all day and eat near the port before heading back to the hotel in the evening.

In the absence of the sixth star we are satisfied with the 5. The structure is a historic Venetian residence, it exudes history in every corner - starting from the dining room where you have breakfast followed by the eternal glances imprinted in the numerous canvases that dot the walls. The rooms have very comfortable beds (high and well-structured mattresses that guarantee a great quality of rest) and the staff is always welcoming and ready to solve any problem that may arise, even (in my case) going MUCH beyond what the role would require. I usually stay at the Lido, this year almost by chance I booked for a few days on New Year's Eve in Malamocco; very central choice. 2 steps and you are at the bus stop which in 5 minutes takes you to the Lido di Venezia S.M.E. vaporetto. Another handful of minutes and you are where you feel like going in the Serenissima but when you want a bit of tranquility, after you have anesthetized yourself with humanity in the midst of the noise of San Marco you can enjoy the Beauty and peace without giving up comfort. Claudia, our host, was very friendly and welcoming. She was full of information and helped us when we required it. The bed was super comfortable and our room was spotless. Breakfast could have had more variety, however what was provided was nice. Good transport links with a bus stop just outside which takes you to the centre of Lido and the boat port in ten minutes. You can get direct links to Venice and other islands in 25 - 40 mins depending on where you want to go. Venice city centre is only a 25 min boat ride and although it sounds like a long journey, it is a fun and enjoyable ride. Hotel was beautifully designed, quiet and good for couples. The hotel is a family run business and in a quiet neighbourhood, not too far from the beach. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway. P.S from a young black couple from London.

We had already been there in the spring and wanted to return with some friends. The helpfulness and hospitality of the owners and staff are wonderful: as there was a technical problem with the heating in our room, they immediately moved us to the suite. The environment is wonderful and evocative, the service is punctual and the breakfast is very rich, with an extremely honest quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back soon.

Typical Venetian location seems to take a dive into the past but with the comforts of today. Everything was very well looked after, the staff were very kind and very helpful. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for tranquility and excellent services.
