What a lovely place! The room is clean and spacious. Enough storage possibilities. We found the crew very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers a lot of information and discounts for activities around Arcen. Our room was located next to the garden opposite the restaurant. Very confenient :-) We thought it might be noisy but it wasn't at all.

We spent four nights here from Thursday 8th September. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how modern the ”New” hotel is. We stayed in the ”Old” one before this upgrade. Reception staff were excellent, and I must commend ”Gina” for her help and friendly professional manner. We found all the staff excellent throughout our visit but she does standout. I hope you enjoyed your holiday Gina. Our room 112 facing the Square was very comfortable with no traffic noise. We did sleep one night with the window open too with no problem, even though the main street runs along under the window. A large bathroom with walk in wet room shower too. Bed large, firm but comfortable and great pillows. Large flatscreen TV, desk, two chairs, coffee machine, Safe and fridge under. Wardrobe space ample too. The only negative for me was no drawer in the bedside cabinets. We ate a couple of nights in the Restaurant, well laid out and comfortable. The food, was a bit pricey but tasty. Two courses were all we could manage though enough for us. Breakfast was ”ordinary” the Continental, adequate, but also busy and food running out sometimes not replenished quickly enough. My personal disappointment was the ”Scrambled Eggs,” which were overdone and rubbery. You could have ”Hard boiled Eggs ” as an option. I am aware what the Dutch like for breakfast as I lived in Roermond for three years , but have had better ”Hot Options.” All in all the Hotel is a good choice next to the Rail and Bus stations but could improve.

The facade of the hotel is not big, and it will be amazing when you enter it. The rooms are large and the decoration is special. They are all controlled by modern technology. The rooms are warm and comfortable. The beds are large. There is a terrace on the 4th floor to see the whole town. You can drink and cool off on it when it’s hot. The breakfast is plentiful. You can walk to the outlets. There are many restaurants to choose from. The supermarket is also very close. It is more convenient. It is recommended to stay in.

This hotels in a good spot near bars and restaurants, its clean the rooms are nice and it's got good parking. However the customer service is very poor. Usually (Ive stayed s few times) you have some disinterested youth at reception who can barely focus on you, your needs, your booking etc. Inattentive poor service basically in fact almost almost rude.. for the management of this place. It takes very little for your staff to be attentive - its free and makes customers feel welcomed and not like they are a distraction from Tik Tok...

The location of the hotel is very good and must be praised. Because the room is set on a high floor, the scenery does not say that the first-line sea view room is unmatched. The only thing that wants to spit is the problem of parking. The hotel's parking lot is very small. I was already full when I went. Fortunately, I found a parking lot near the supermarket, the price is no different from the hotel.

Wir waren hier mit Freunden um einen Geburtstag in der Nähe zu feiern. Das Hotel liegt in einer industriell genutzten Gegend etwas abgelegen. Es ist deswegen ausgesprochen ruhig in der Gegend. Das Haus ist recht neu und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind recht gross und sauber und die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstücksangebot war nicht sonderlich reichlich, aber ausreichend. Zum Hotel gehört ein beschrankter Parkplatz für 12 Euro, den benötigt man nicht unbedingt, es gibt in der eher einsamen Gegend auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel wird mit minimalem Personaleinsatz betrieben, das war kein Nachteil. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir Kontakt hatten, waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für etwas unter 100 Euro haben wir eine sehr gute Übernachtung erhalten.

The environment is in a small town, there is everything in the town, and the traffic is convenient. Although it is not near the high speed, the national road is accessible. The national road is not traffic jams and there are electric car charging piles. The environment is elegant, with a forest behind it. The only downside: there is no air conditioning in summer, but it is super quiet, open the window and open the electric fan, the price is beautiful, the price is high

I have to admit I didn't have high expectations for a Best Western but pleasantly surprised. Clean and comfortable. Good restaurant, Spa and gym which I haven't seen but apparently very good. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Excellent
Wonderful new hotel in the heart of the old town! Check In is over the counter in the bar. You immediately feel at home. The ambience is excellent - industrial style with plant carpet on the wall. The rooms are modern and new, the beds wonderful! At night you can enter the hotel through the side entrance. Very friendly, wonderful and professional staff. As a bonus there were free croissants and coffee, tea and drinks for breakfast in the cafe. We parked our car in the street nearby (parking meter) but there are plenty of other parking garages nearby. Would definately recommend and we would stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel is located close to Venlo so it is perfect for a real carnaval experience. It's cozy and it looks like a modern castle. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend having the dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

GGuest UserIk kwam laat aan en dat is hier gelukkig geen probleem. De parkeerplaats achter is vrij toegankelijk, de slagboom staat altijd open. Gelukkig is er rekening gehouden met EV’s en kun je hier laden (als er geen brandstof auto’s op de plekken staan) Er is 24 uur per dag iemand die de receptie beheert en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Bij inchecken valt al op dat het al wat jaren niet meer meegegaan is met de tijd. Je krijgt hier nog ouderwets een sleutel van de kamer. De kamer was bij binnenkomst warm, helaas geen airco maar een kleine ventilator en ramen die je kunt openen. De kamer is krap en het bed is in een hoekje gedrukt. Meubilair is erg ouderwets. Er is geen voorziening voor koffie of thee. Tapijt en muren zitten vol vlekken. Onder het bed en achter de tv is al jaren geen stofdoek meer geweest. De badkamer is ruim genoeg met een basis wastafel, grote spiegel, wc en douche met de kleinste douchekop die ik ooit gezien heb. De tegelvloeren zijn bruin en beschimmeld, het plafond bladert af. Ik denk dat het dragen van slippers zeker aan te raden is. Het bed is ok, deken is te dik voor de tijd van het jaar, zeker in een kamer zonder airco. ‘s ochtends als het hotel ontwaakt valt op dat het erg gehorig is. Uitslapen kun je wel vergeten. Het ontbijt voorziet in alle basisbehoeften maar is zeker niet speciaal te noemen. ‘s avonds besloten te gaan eten in het restaurant. Hier ziet alles er wel goed uit en geeft het oude interieur sfeer. Het personeel is wederom erg vriendelijk. Het eten was erg goed, een lekkere amuse en brood vooraf. Hoofdgerecht was erg lekker en naar wens. Wat opvalt is de prijs van de gerechten, qua kwaliteit kun je zeggen dat het eerlijk is maar als onderdeel van het hotel is het restaurant te duur. Bij terugkomst op de kamer bleek de afzuiging van het restaurant vol te loeien. Erg vervelend in vele kamers. Gelukkig geen geuroverlast. Al met al was het verblijf prima maar laat de staat waar de kamers in verkeren ernstig te wensen over. Ik geef dit hotel een krappe voldoende voornamelijk om het goede eten en het uiterst vriendelijke personeel.
