Ventura Beach House Motel

It is an old motel but it has been looked after really well. The rooms were clean and there was a lot of space. Not too far from the beach either. Definitely worth the price.

The property was nice and easy to find. The owner was helpful, welcoming, and optimistic about our arrival since I competed at the Ventura Half Marathon. If you guys want a simple place to stay while you're out here, I'd recommend giving this place a shot.

Great location, staff is amazing. And it’s walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and the beach.

Blood on sheet and comforter

The lady in the office was rude for no reason, just out rite nasty. The room was bare bones but that's what I expected for 85 bucks. When i left my room at with an hour before checkout she turned my room card off and I had to get her each time I wanted to get back in, rediculas

Good price and convenient location. My boyfriend and I were a little disappointed with minor details. We noticed there was a coffee maker in the room which we tried using in the morning but there was no filter. Also, the single tiny bar of soap that is provided completely dried out our skin and no lotion was provided. Normally it’s not a big deal to us because we usually bring our own toiletries but this was a last minute stay and we did not get a chance to pack like we normally do. It would’ve been nice to have a little travel size lotion or at least have a different kind of soap that didn’t leave us completely dry. Another detail worth knowing is you will only get one key to your room even if there are two people staying. They will ask for a $20 deposit (cash only) when you check in which we were not aware of. Luckily we had a twenty on us. They did state they would return it when we return the key at check out, which they did. It was decent for the price and would consider booking again. We would just be more prepared next time.

Very nice property, well maintained and managed by very nice employees. The property sits perfectly off the Main Street. Making it more desirable to an individual or family that is looking for an affordable very nice hotel room that includes: tv, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. Clean, friendly, low noise from main hwy, and location is close to excellent restaurant’s and semi fast food eateries.

Just ok, added a star for the early check-in

Modest, but clean and more than adequate. Fairly large fridge was a nice surprise! Within walking distance is a pizza/brew restaurant and a bit farther we discovered a place with great fish tacos.
