The Hotel d’Angleterre in Versailles is the ideal place to visit the famous château . It is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the main entry of the château, walking through a public garden which is hardly visible from the main streets. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very kind. They allowed us to use the room an extra 2 hours because my husband participated in a 15 km run and needed to take a shower before leaving the hotel. We were also gifted some delicious croissants! Thanks to this kindness, our stay in Versailles was simply perfect! Excellent value for money!!

We stayed two nights in the main building for a wedding. Cons: * Check-in was a challenge. They were quite strict about not allowing anybody into their rooms until the official 3pm checkin time when we arrived (and we arrived at 2:30pm, not super early). Then when we did get a room key, it didn't work, nor did the second key, nor did housekeeping's master key. It turned out someone else was already in our room with the door bolted, and the hotel staff had to kick them out and re-freshen our room before we could get into it. They were extremely apologetic and sent up some free fruit juice and macarons, but it's the kind of mistake that a Waldorf shouldn't be making (and it could easily be prevented--see below for a suggestion), yet we heard from another guest that they had a similar problem, too. * Breakfast is just OK. It was included in our rate, so we were satisfied, but I would not have been happy if I'd been paying full price, given how amazing the breakfast options are in France generally. * The ground-floor public restrooms were out of order, requiring restaurant guests and folks hanging out in the public spaces (including people waiting for their rooms) to go down narrow stairs to the spa level to find a toilet. A downside of having a historic building, perhaps, but still not ideal for a high-end hotel. Pros: * Gorgeous, historic main building. * Lovely pool (albeit very restrictive about allowing non-swimmers to hang out). * Comfortable room with a great bed and very nice bathroom (the shower was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel) and quality black-out curtains. * Friendly staff. * When our daughter left her phone by the pool on the day we left, the front desk clerk reached out to us and helped coordinate getting it back to us. We ended up sending an Uber--the clerk handed the phone to the driver, and the driver handed the phone to me outside our hotel in Paris late that night. This is the kind of service we hope for when going to a higher end hotel, and we really appreciated that the clerk was flexible about doing this for us. How to rate the hotel is tough. If it were half of the price, it would probably warrant a 5/5 even with the cons above. But for the price they charge, I would say it's more of a 3/5 bumped up to a solid 4/5 by the help they offered with the lost telephone. Suggestion for preventing wrong room keys: Our understanding of the screw-up with our room was that we were in Room 115, while the other guests were supposed to be in Room 1115 (the four-digit number signifying the pavilion building next door, not the main building where we were staying). Apparently, the desk clerk misread the ”1115” on the reservation computer as 115, and consequently programmed the keys (on a separate computer) for 115 and wrote 115 on the other guest's key holder. Since there aren't that many floors in the main building, they could help prevent this kind of error by having the pavilion rooms start with an 8 or 9 inst

The Jardin de Saint Cloud exceeded expectations! When booking, I had read reviews complaining that it was far from Central Paris, which it true- its in Saint Cloud. So if that is a concern it may not be a fit. However, it was perfect for us! We were visiting friends in Saint Cloud. The Jardin allowed us to take public transit into Central Paris. It is across the street from the T2, a shot walk to one of the M lines, and a VERY steep walk to the L. We easily got to our activities in the city each morning and returned each afternoon in time to visit with our friends for the evening. The rooms were clean and far more spacious than I anticipated (we did book a suite). The pool was great for my 9 year old and breakfast was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful! If we are lucky enough to return to France to visit our friends again, we will 100% book here again!

The first thing you notice is how big and well kept the place is. Upon entering you realise it is modern and extremely welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful the place is clean and well kept. The person that made my stay memorable is a man named Werner , he floats around the place and is extremely attentive to the gust needs. Every time I needed something he was around to help with a big smile. I love his energy and how he makes you feel welcomed and important , incredible service skills. Werner makes an ideal ambassador for the Brand and I will definitely be using Novotel again.

This hotel is excellent for the sporting events in the area, in this case, Roland Garros. It’s a 25 minute walk to the stadium which sounds a lot but that’s mainly because when you get near the stadium, there’s a lot of traffic direction. The double room was spacious with good facilities. The breakfast was excellent, really busy as the hotel was packed with tennis people, but everything was kept well stocked. The bar area looks like it’s designed for children (low tables and cushion chairs) but was comfortable enough when getting back from the stadium at nearly midnight and we could still get a drink. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is located in an area that from what I could tell was undergoing transformation from what was probably a light commercial and office area being replaced by new apartment buildings which the hotel was part of and while the area was nice it wasn’t really convenient to anything. On the morning I needed a taxi the hotel tried booking me one but none were available in the area and I walked about two kilometres before I was able to hail one down. This is an apartment hotel and doesn’t provide all the traditional services you would get at a hotel but this one comes pretty close. A small lobby with some seating and vending machines and another area with some lounges and a game table. My room 311 had a handy entry area with a small shelf ideal for your keys and other small items and some coat hooks. The bathroom is off to one side and had a large open shower with just a shower curtain in my room which I think was because it was a disabled room. The shower was a good size but the floor of the shower which was a prefabricated tray didn’t feel as it was properly attached to the floor and had a fair bit of movement. The main room was a good size for Paris and had everything I needed for my short three night stay including a comfortable bed, desk with convenient power outlets and a kitchen which was well stocked with the items you would need on a daily basis for a short stay but more specialized appliances were available to borrow at the front desk like food processor, croc pot and crepe maker I think it was which was a good idea. Overall the room had a nice modern contemporary feeling and more than enough space. Being an apartment hotel concept the rooms are only serviced every seven days which is something to be aware of. I chose this hotel as it was closer to the place I needed to collect my leased car from and given that the French Open was on at the time my options were limited and the hotel had parking but as it turned out I didn’t need it as there was plenty of free street parking right outside the hotel on the two nights I needed it. I really like the Adagio chain of apartments in Europe and this was another great one.
Ideal for a stay in Paris, the Adagio Paris Montrouge hotel is well served by public transport and close to the shopping streets. This 4-star aparthotel has 133 modern and functional studios and 2-room apartments. It is 15 minutes from Orly airport and ac ar park is available.

Great base for a Parisian visit. On Metro linge 4, a great line which cuts through the heart of the city. The Adagio is 10 mins away from the Metro, with a Boulangerie and Monoprix 5 mins away. Our studio was small but well formed, with a small kitchen (inc a microwave, stove top and dishwasher). Loved the balcony as it was warm so the airflow was very welcome. The bed folded up onto the wall and converted into a sofa which was a good use of space. There was a separate bath/shower and loo, which was nicely designed. All in all a great stay, comfortable, it met all our needs and we’d stay again. Being away from the main city hubbub suited us well.
Very Good

KKelLy.KWe stayed only one night here to visit the Palace de Versailles. This hotel was no shortcoming for us in terms of location, service, facilities, amenities, etc. If I have to say one thing then the over-night parking fee was a bit expensive. There’s no doubt that this hotel would be the best choice in the area and of course I’d like to stay here when we visit Versailles again.
Me proposant....
GGuest UserThe location is very good to find, there is a small garden nearby, it is a public service center, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. The boss is Chinese.
GGuest UserUpon arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly. When entering our room the beautiful scent of fresh sheets and air freshener welcomed us into the room. The view of the Versailles chantier station from our window was a good way to start the day. The hotel is walking distance to Versailles palace and nearby stores and the main train station in the area. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food stores in the area which often stay open till later in the night. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is after a clean and conveniently located hotel.

GGuest UserSpent one night here last weekend, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but were able to leave our luggage whilst we went for lunch which was handy. We were in room 41 on the second floor - the room was nicely decorated and a reasonable size, with a large and comfy bed and free tea and coffee making facilities. In the lobby there were also some pastries we could help ourselves to which was a thoughtful touch. There was no air con in the room, but there were 2 large fans and we could open the window which helped a bit as it was hot during our visit. On the next street (Rue de Satory) there was a good choice of restaurants and a couple of bars. We stayed on a Sunday night which meant some places were closed, but we had no problem getting a meal and a few drinks.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for only one night. We chose it for its location to the palace, only a 10 - 15 minute walk. We stayed in a superior room, which was jaw dropping when walking in. All the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us to make our stay very enjoyable and we had no complaints about the hotel or the staff and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Versailles.
We have been in Europe for a week right now traveling to Paris, Normandy and the palace of Versailles. This hotel, by far, is the best we’ve stayed at and the price is very very realistic. The staff, every one of them, has been wonderful with us. The hotel has a lot of amenities that many lack. The rooms are beautiful and quaint. Like most hotel rooms in Europe it is much smaller then American hotel rooms, but that doesn’t bother us. it has a lot of the modern conveniences, but with an old world charm that is reflective of Vienna. You can buy a bottle of beer in the lobby from one of the local breweries, which are amazing. They have many other drink options available as well. The rooms have coffee machines, and there is an ice machine in the lobby.
