A lovely hotel, with a fantastic buffet breakfast - loads of options hot and cold as well as a small menu of prepared to order items such as shakes, omlettes etc. Staff were super helpful. Hotel is right opposite the beach although you have to mind the traffic when walking across the road. The hotel provides you with towels to use at the beach, and recommend a few that are close by. The beach clubs are not cheap though, so pick wisely as some include use of the swimming pool and different umbrella/deck chair options. The hotel has its own indoor pool and gym, both of which were emply each day we went, so it was lovely to have that space to ourselves. There is a weekly market that takes place right outside the hotel, which is worth a good mooch through as is a walk through the gorgeous park that runs through the spine of the town and provides some much needed shade from the heat during the day. We took the train from the airport and then walked to the hotel which took a good 15 minutes, but manageable. We used the train to go to Pisa too - which is definately recommended. We ate out in one of the many restaurants along the road outside, we found that the closer we got to the town centre the busier the restaurants seemed to be, so we tended to eat at the hotel end and then go for a stroll afterwards. Would definately recommend
