History and design in perfect combination. A hushed atmosphere envelops this place on a steep hill above tiny Vico Morcote. The lake is a 20 minute walk downhill on stairs and cobblestone, getting back up again is the real challenge. Restaurant Sorgente offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Don’t miss restaurant Vicania set in a meadow further up the hill and offering wonderful sunset views, transport can be booked. Rent electric bikes from the friendly staff or take the ferry to Lugano for some city vibes.

Superior Hotel in the quiet environment of Vico Morcote. Careing, very friendly personel, excellent breakfast buffet and food in its own restaurant. Very individual rooms, nice garden and guest rooms. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Sono stato con mia moglie venerdì 19 luglio per un evento wine e dine. Tenuta molto bella. Aperitivo poi presentazione della tenuta da parte del proprietario. Cena servita all'interno in una sala molto accogliente. Ottima cena con piatti molto curati e di qualità. Personale molto preparato. Complimenti..

Sono stato con mia moglie in occasione del nostro anniversario di nozze. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima. Il posto è molto piacevole e rilassante. Personale disponibilissimo e molto gentile. Abbiamo preso la camera ad angolo con vista lago incantevole. La camera è bellissima, pulita, con un letto morbido, molto accogliente e ben arredata. Anche il bagno è perfetto. Abbiamo fatto la degustazione vini con vini della loro cantina e visita al castello, che consiglio vivamente di fare. La cantina è super moderna e tenuta benissimo. Il castello vale la pena di essere visitato. Bella la passeggiata fra i vigneti e la vista sul lago che è STUPENDA. Torneremo sicuramente.

Sehr bequemes Bett doch zu viele und zu grosse Kissen. Feine Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet, sehr schöne gepflegte Innendekoration, tolle Aussicht von Zi 102 mit privatem Balkon. Alle Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Überraschung zum gefeierten Geburtstag ist geglückt.

Wir waren drei Nächte im Relais und genossen die stilvolle, mitunter geschichtsträchtige Einrichtung, die Stille der Aufenthaltsräume, die jazzige Hintergrundmusik und die unglaublich hübsche Lage in Vico Morcote. Einrichtung, Garten, Komfort und Zustand des Relais sind ein Genuss. Das Frühstück klein und fein, vielleicht nach einer Woche etwas langweilig da während unseres Aufenthaltes stets die gleichen Ingredienzen angeboten wurden. Das aber nur ein Detail und nicht "matchentscheidend". Es arbeiten viele angenehme Persönlichkeiten in diesem Bijou, allesamt mit Augenmerk auf die persönliche Note, das fanden wir wohltuend. Was uns aber richtig enttäuscht hat war das grosse Schweigen über den runden Geburtstag, den wir im Haus gefeiert haben. Die Geburtsdaten sind bekannt, da wäre eine kleine Geste (Gratulation reicht!) in so einem Haus angebracht. Wenn schon persönlicher Service, dann richtig, sonst wird das Ganze zur Farce. Kleine Mängel im Service, im Auffrischen des Buffets, im Auffüllen desselbigen, im Zimmerservice. Klein aber fein - auch da!

Unglaublich schönes Haus. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Seeblick. Sehr schöner Garten zum Entspannen. Top Service in allen Belangen. WIr können das Relais Castello di Morcote nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen ! Wir kommen aufjedenfall gerne wieder :-)
