Esperienza eccellente in coppia.

This is an amazing hotel. A part of history in a historical location. Beautiful large rooms at fantastic value for money. Great street food outside the train station and a coffee shop at its doorstep. A quick train ride into the city and you can visit all of Viennas famous restaurants.

My two teenage children and I stayed in the Family Room for 3 nights in June 2022. The location of the hotel is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city and shopping area. A stone's throw away from a metro stop and the St. Stephen's cathedral. There are a lot of restaurants nearby to dine at, The State Opera House is a 4-min walk. The staff of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Our luggage didn't make the connection in Amsterdam and hotel staff went out of they way to call airlines. If you want to get to the hotel from the airport, take the CAT (City Airport Train) for 12 euros (kids under 15 ride for free) and get off at the first city stop (Landstrabe/ Wien Mitte). Then take the U3 subway line (buy separate ticket for 2,40 euros) and get off two stops at Stephanplatz. It's about a 25 min ride.

The location is excellent, very close to the train station, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. Salzburg is not big, and almost all transportation stations depart from the train station. There is a shopping mall opposite, with Subway and Billa supermarket. The hotel has floor-to-ceiling windows and a good view. It is also a high-rise building in Salzburg. It is not far to walk to the old town, and you can basically get there by foot. The staff will also greet you warmly. The hotel can buy Salzburg Card, which is very convenient. The only drawback is that there is dust on the desk lamp, everything else is good.

This has been my go-to hotel in Vienna for more than 10 years. It is a decent 4-star choice especially if you look for a peaceful stay in lovely green environment, a stunning view to the city, pleasing, classic architecture and opulent interior. The rooms are nice and spacious but nothing seems to have changed since my first visit, consequently the furnishing seems to be a bit aged and worn-out. The door of the bathroom is made of ground glass and you can see directly to the toilet from the anteroom. The hotel should definitely reconsider this choice. The sleeping quality could not be better. The beds are super comfy and the walls are so thick that you'll sleep like a baby even if a hyperactive kindergarten stays next door. I have a good general impression of the service, but the housekeeping did not excel this time. The breakfast is ok, the a-la-carte selection and quality is quite basic, but again, the environment is worth the price. You can enjoy your meal on the terrace, a cute winter garden or a luxurious ballroom with a breathtaking view to the city. You can get to the city center and the main sights in about half an hour by bus, it runs frequently (in every 10-15 minutes) and stops right in front of the hotel.

It was convenient to stay near the Christmas market. Walkable market nearby. With one maid who cleans A female server wearing glasses during breakfast in the morning, etc. Only 2 people were friendly. Even if the desk responds with a smile As an Asian, my expression completely changed when I inquired. Not friendly to Asians. The room is small for the price and I booked for 2 people. There was only one sofa, which was inconvenient. Disappointed for the price as the facilities are outdated.
