Great value hotel and very comfortable room, bed, and everything you need - TV (we could log into our own Prime Video account on it) fridge, safe and tea/coffee/kettle , hairdryer provided. Nice quiet location a bit out of the way from the city but we did manage to walk into the city centre (30mins) - walk about and walk back and we are in our 60’s. The shower is one of the best I’ve used. Plenty hot water and the tap water is also fine to drink. Air con was a bit noisy but worked fine. We also used the tower fan that was in the room for instant chill when you got back. Good Free wifi. Breakfast is €12 pp if you want it extra. But as we don’t eat much on a morning we didn’t bother. There are supermarkets everywhere too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely afternoon meal at zum maehrischen spatzen - nice menu - just round the corner - worth a look - I’d recommend this hotel.

The house at Wehlistrasse 153 was built in 1900 by the master builder Klima. He called the Reichsbueckehof. This name still stands on the façade of the building.
