This hotel offers great value for money. Although it's not in the city center, it's within walking distance. The facilities inside the hotel were better than expected, and there's even a fountain square right across the street.

The hotel environment is great, right next to a park. Dining is also very convenient, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The staff are warm and polite. The room size is quite suitable, definitely worth staying here.

The fatal flaw: untrustworthiness! That's a huge no-no. The staff's attitude was good, but the hotel's room sales integrity is a major issue. No matter how good the facilities, I wouldn't dare stay here. After all, it's only a few days of vacation, and I can't risk them reneging on a booking even during the off-season. (The staff probably didn't know I understand German, even though my English is better. They thought their internal communication was private, but I understood everything. That made it even more frustrating.) Over a month in advance, I booked a twin room for three days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), paid a deposit, and did an online check-in ahead of time. When I arrived at past 6 PM, I was told the Saturday room was booked, and only Sunday was available. Due to the time difference, trying to contact Trip.com only resulted in automated replies. The hotel claimed they would upgrade me to a king room. That's ridiculous! If this hotel didn't have twin rooms, my companion and I wouldn't have chosen it in the first place. They even implied we were getting a good deal, saying we could have anything from the snack bar – really?? After I stood my ground, they agreed to add an extra bed. The so-called upgrade was a corner room, which was larger because of its irregular shape, but sitting on the toilet meant getting uncomfortably close to the radiator. The soundproofing was terrible, and being near a major intersection meant double the noise of cars whizzing by. I contacted Trip.com again the next day, and they finally managed to change me back to a twin room. But after all that hassle on the first day of a three-day trip, how could it be enjoyable? I left my travel adapter on the wall when I changed rooms and forgot to take it. The housekeeping staff threw it away directly, and it was gone when I came back in the afternoon. Honestly, I'm beyond words.

1. **Strict Check-in Policy** I arrived at the hotel a little after 2 PM, and the front desk informed me that check-in wasn't until 3 PM. To check in less than an hour early, I was told I either had to pay a fee or join their membership program. This means even if a room is ready, they won't let you check in even a short while before 3 PM! In stark contrast, other hotels on this trip, which also had a 3 PM check-in, proactively emailed me before 2 PM to say 'Your room is ready, welcome to check in anytime.' The difference in service attitude is night and day. 2. **Poor Room Experience** Other hotels provide handwritten welcome cards and snacks, but this one only left a note warning about construction noise and a pair of earplugs. The windows offered no sound insulation at all; I heard constant car noise throughout the night, and construction started before 7 AM. There was no overhead light in the room, making it dimly lit and very inconvenient for packing. 3. **Terrible Bedding** The bed was incredibly small; my feet dangled off the end when I slept. The duvet cover had no zipper or buttons, so the comforter bundled up inside, which was very uncomfortable. 4. **Bathroom Design Flaws** There was no shower stall, only an old-fashioned, half-enclosed bathtub that was very high, making it difficult to get out. The water pressure was extremely low, with a tiny stream, and the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. I had to be very careful while showering to avoid hitting the wall on one side and the glass on the other. 5. **Cramped Toilet Area** The toilet was squeezed into a narrow corner. I constantly had to be mindful not to hit the side wall or the towel rack in front while using it.

This hotel is great! The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and everything tastes delicious. It's a convenient 6-minute walk to the Golden Hall and about 25 minutes on foot to the Central Café. A taxi to the main train station costs around 9 euros, and to Vienna West Station, it's about 13 euros. There's a park nearby, and I was lucky enough to catch heavy snowfall, which made for beautiful snowscape photos.

It's pretty good, but not as good value for money as staying in the suburbs. After all, even in the city, you still have to walk to attractions, so it's better to stay outside the city and take the subway.

The hotel itself is very pleasant, and the location is excellent. However, the service was terrible. We were given the wrong room – a tiny room with two beds, even though we had booked a superior room with one large bed. We wanted to change rooms, but the front desk refused, saying there were no other rooms available. We're thankful to Trip.com support for helping us resolve this issue. After we contacted them, a manager came out, reiterated that there were no rooms, and then miraculously gave us keys to a different, much better room. We were satisfied with the outcome, but the initial unpleasant experience left a sour taste.
