This is a great hotel I had a great stay, the service and staff are great. The hotel is clean and close to a lot of places and restaurants.

The language level is not good, and there was an additional misunderstanding because of that! 20USD for pickup from railway st? was abit harsh..

The location is excellent close to many eating places and the night market and riverfront. It’s on a fairly quiet street and the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are large at 45sqm and the staff are very accommodating with timely house keeping services. While the breakfast selection is not large there is a mix of western and Asian selections and sufficient for all palates. The hotel feels like someone’s French villa as it has a very cosy atmosphere which gives it its charm and makes it distinctive from all the modern day hotels. While the fixtures may seem a bit dated it is very clean and it provides all the amenities you need and I love the fact that it has a balcony attached to each room so you can sit outside and relax.

Well located in the city of Vientiane, walking distance to restaurants and Mekong River night market. Professional and friendly staff.

Booked this marvel based on the reviews and was very happy to have done so. It certainly lives up to the image of being a 5-star property even though called a boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Our room came with a balcony and gave it a rustic French look. Breakfast was on the 2nd floor and the buttered croissants and the freshly served coffee were divine. All staff at the hotel were always spotted with warm smiles and were ever ready to assist. I would definitely return to the Dhavara Boutique Hotel the next time I visit Vientiene, Laos.

It’s good place to stay….

It's OK. The location is quite good. There is a bar opposite. The Black Tower is a few hundred meters away. The Arc de Triomphe is more than one kilometer away. There is a Sanhe beef noodle nearby that is quite delicious. It is also close to the night market. The hotel looks pretty good. The interior is a bit old. The service is not up to par, but the boss is very nice. If you can't book a seat using the taxi app, you can book Hilton.

We only stayed in Vientiane for one day, so we chose hotels with good location. I personally prefer this small boutique hotel, while my girlfriend prefers the Mintra next door which looks more impressive. I think it depends on personal preference. Location: French Street is right outside the door, next to the Her Work store, and Lao Meikong Massage next to it. I couldn't find a better one in Vangrong and Luang Prabang. Service: The English at the front desk is OK, and the basics can be met. They are not too enthusiastic, but they smile and are polite. The doorman service is more discerning than many five-star hotels in China. Facilities: It has a French feel from many years ago, and it is definitely not as convenient as modern hotels. But it has a unique flavor. It doesn't make people feel unclean, which is the key. Others: Breakfast is half-order, part of which is self-service, which is very good, and the banana pancakes are delicious. My friend regretted not ordering a second portion, and she couldn't forget it later. In addition, the small kudzu root buns sold in the lobby are of very suitable quality and price. I regret not buying two. I haven't found such a suitable one in Laos.

This is my third stay this year. I am very satisfied with this hotel. The front desk and restaurant services are very good, the breakfast is delicious and fresh, the room facilities are satisfactory, the location is very good, and it is very convenient to travel.
