Best hotel that we stayed at in Lao. It has been set up mainly for Chinese tourists and business people.
We enjoyed the accommodation that much we stayed 15days instead of the original 4 nights booking. The rooms where very well set up with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Toiletries, water, bath towels included hand towels and face washers. Found comfy gowens and slippers, even 2 gas masks???? That was a concern 😟.
The room was a good size with table and chairs, plus a nice comfy chair to relax.
The cleaning staff where very good and very friendly. The reception and security staff where very helpful and friendly.
TV was set up totally for Chinese visitors, only down fall. Would have been good to have satellite TV to include other guests. The pool was very good plus cleaned regularly.
The gym needs a total revamp. Equipment was old and not working.
General maintenance and cleaning of the rooms, hallways and entry was very good. A little bit of mould in the grout joints was the only thing, but not as bad as other accommodation that I've seen.. A good monthly clean would keep this problem under control.
The breakfast included was pretty boring, which was a shame.
Overall, I would highly recommend.

It was my first time going abroad, and I was very worried about the language barrier. But surprisingly, the people who came to pick me up at the airport were Chinese. The Laotians could understand what we said. There were Chinese restaurants, Chinese supermarkets, and vegetable markets nearby, which was very convenient. They also lent us their kitchen and used disposable face and bath towels, which was rare.

I was disappointed with this property. I booked a 2-bedroom unit, and my biggest complaint was the many mosquitoes in the room when we checked-in and although we tried smashing them all between our clapping hands, more continued showing up during our 4-day stay even though we kept the doors and windows closed. We were also greeted with a dirty rag on the bathroom counter that a housekeeper had left and a half-full water bottle on the balcony with a cigarette bud floating in it. The washing machine in the room was disgusting… black mold growing all over the rubber door gasket, and it smelled terrible. The room's safety box stopped working, so a hotel engineer unbolted the old box and replaced it with another one. The next day, the replacement safety box would not open, and the engineer could not find the physical key that is used to open the box when the electronic mechanism stops working, so they had to physically destroy the box door with a hammer, chisel, and hacksaw blade to retrieve my valuables. Lastly, the beds were too hard and the wi-fi was unreliable and very slow. There was no effort by hotel management to apologize for these problems and I will not be returning.

Check in date : 25th August 2022. Check out date : 26th August 2022. Location : The hotel is conveniently located right at the heart of Vientiane. It is within walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane and there are nice restaurants around. The junction at the end of the road has a convenience store. We booked LOCA car from the airport and it just costs 100,000 LAK. The area is not too busy but it is just near to the main the main road. Within walking distance, tourists can walk to Sisaket and Night Market. But we opt out for the motorcycle. Reception : The recep area is small but nicely decorated with wooden furniture. We arrived around 8am and the well spoken English receptionist welcomed us warmly. She also direct us to the luggage area and we got to keep our luggage before check in time. Before I depart from my home country, I texted the owner about motorcycle rental. The owner kindly replied me and arranged for us the motorcycle rental that only costs 50,000 LAK per day (which is super cheap). When we arrived, the motorcycle was ready. All in all, I felt welcome in the hotel. Room : My room is in the second floor. It has an amazing courtyard view. The room is spacious, the bathroom is big and clean. The AC works very well. The bed are large and comfy. An electric kettle was provided and 2 mineral waters are there for us. The towels are fresh and the wardrobe is big enough for us to store our rucksacks. Around the hotel : It is a very small but well run hotel. The hotel is clean and spotless. The courtyard is very amazing and the resting area gives a very tranquil vibe. There is a limited space motorcycle parking rental. The hotel also seems very quiet and looks like a very good resting/working place. There are no elevator around so disable people had to reconsider booking here or you can opt for ground floor room right in front of the courtyard. We checked out around 6am the next day so we didnt get to try the breakfast. Satisfaction : We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists.

This us a nicely appointed little hotel with a cold beer available for purchase as soon as you arrive. Hanger storage for hanging clothes is funky but hilimited. The pool hours ought to be longer and an innovative way to provide some afternoon shade is sorely needed. Staff is great. I wish the ”private” space on the 8th floor was open to paying guests.

VLC (Vientiane Life Center) really win big at its location. Walking distance (basically less than 5mins) to access to Central Bus Station, Talat Sao Morning Market, Supermarkets & Shopping Mall.
Room is clean and spacious for a solo traveller like myself.
Will definitely recommend to anyone who is going to Visit Vientiane.

A newly opened hotel with a great location. It is very close to the surrounding attractions and the Mekong River. It is only a few minutes walk to Parkson. There is a large supermarket on the basement floor.
The room is very clean and quite large. It feels like great value. The overall style is elegant and clean. There is also a sofa next to the balcony that is very comfortable to sit on.

GGuest UserI decided to try this new hostel as a budget alternative. It is dormitory style, in a kind of mini-cube design, like Japanese hostels I have read about, but with curtains instead of secure doors.
On the plus side: Everything was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The plumbing all worked. The reception area is a nice coffee bar with good food, coffee and tea and good WiFi internet and a nice loop of current music by the original artists. There is also a 4th floor balcony to watch the sunrise.
On the minus side:
There were no power outlets in the reception area. (But there are two in each cubiicle.) The shower had no hooks or rack to hang a towel or clothes.
The cubicles have no secure door, just a curtain. (But there is a separate locker for each cubicle to secure luggage and valuables.) There was no hot water for coffee available early before 6:00 am. And the sleeping area was refrigirated to about 20 degrees C (but the comforter was nice and warm all night).
I might try it again, and I will definitely be back to enjoy the coffee.
FFranssonTT Hostel: where penny pinching meets poshness in the most delightful of ways! Imagine a kitchen with more character than your grandma's, air conditioning so refreshing, it'll whisk you away to a dreamland, and showers galore, cleaner than a whistle. And oh, the location? It's like having your own personal guide, leading you to adventures just around the corner.
SserselCleanliness: Generally very clean room. Not sure when it’s opened but looks like everything is new and nice.
Room size: Quite a bit space including a desk.
Staff: Super friendly and helpful.
Food: Hotel restaurant has great food with cheaper prices. Initially I didn’t book breakfast but their $5 breakfast was definitely worth the money.
There are not many options around.
Amenities: There’s a nice pool although I didn’t have time to use. Would be great in hot days.
Can also ride a bike for $2 per day.
Location: It’s out of the city in a quiet area. It wasn’t a problem for me as I was looking for a quiet place for good sleep, but the location might be problem if you want to be in the city center with many restaurant options.
They have free shuttle bus twice a day at 6 & 7 pm. Alternatively can bike under 10 mins. Haven’t tried but I’m sure they’ll be happy to help if taxi or tuktuk is requested.
Overall: Considering the price, it was a great stay for me.
GGerasimburgI recently stayed at Vientiane BB Hostel and was very pleased with my experience. This is an ideal option for travelers looking for an affordable yet cozy and comfortable hostel in the heart of Laos' capital.
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile at the reception, quickly checked in, and shown all the necessary facilities. The staff speaks English, which is very convenient for international guests, and they are always ready to help with any questions, whether it’s advice on tours or assistance with transportation.
I stayed in a Deluxe room by myself, and I can say it was an excellent choice. The room was clean, spacious, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linens. The room had air conditioning, which is essential in a hot climate, and a small but convenient bathroom.
The hostel's breakfasts were also a highlight. Each day, you can choose between an omelet, fried eggs, and two toasts. Everything is served fresh and hot, making it a great way to start the day. Additionally, coffee and tea are available for free at any time of the day, which adds an extra level of comfort for guests.
The hostel also has a great common area where you can relax, use the stable Wi-Fi, or chat with other guests. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, creating a sense of warmth and hospitality.
Another major advantage is the hostel's location. It’s in the city center, within walking distance of Vientiane's main attractions, such as Patuxai and the Mekong River promenade. This made it easy for me to explore the city and its surroundings without needing transportation.
Overall, Vientiane BB Hostel offers an excellent combination of price and quality. This place is perfect for those looking for comfortable accommodation with great amenities at an affordable price. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who values comfort and coziness while traveling.
SShanaLeeMA good hotel to stay in for one night if you are catching a plane the next morning. Very close to airport - and the hotel provides a free shuttle service. Bed was extremely comfortable, however room and pillows smelled of cigarette smoke. Breakfast is very simple, Chinese style. You will also need to have cash for the hotel deposit as they do not accept credit cards for this. If you do not have cash, there is an ATM as short walk up the road.
GGuest UserIt’s a great bang for your buck this hotel is! Communication is a breeze, and the free airport pickup and transfer to the railway station are just fantastic perks. I messaged them for a pickup as I landed super early, around 7:30 am, and guess what? The driver was already there waiting for me. Talk about service!
The room was spotless and really cozy—I slept like a baby during my stay. Since the hotel is pretty new, they’re still getting things up and running. For example, the free breakfast ran out quickly because of a big tour group. But no worries, Manager Chan was on it! He quickly whipped up some dumplings for the individual guests like me. How awesome is that?
The front desk staff might struggle a bit with English or Chinese, but they’re super eager to help. Google Translate can be a lifesaver here. The driver, on the other hand, speaks fluent Chinese. He even offered his WeChat, so you can chat with him in Mandarin easily.
One of my favorite spots was the lobby. Manager Chen often makes tea for himself and invites guests to join in. He’s so friendly and generous with his time. I learned so much about Laos and its culture just by chatting with him.
The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the city center and since it’s new, Google Maps isn’t quite up to date. This can make it a bit tricky for ride-hailing apps to find the place.
A few little extras like a hair dryer, a city map, and some tour information would be great additions for travelers. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay!

GGuest UserVery accommodating front desk staff. Amenities you won't find it better than Vientiane Luxury Hotel are: The Gym, the pool, and the room cleanliness. It could use a little improvement on the elevator video display. It would be nice if the music from the display is more traditional like Lao bamboo flute or traditional music. Also show case the gym and pool more. 9.2 out of 10.
JJanusz DobkowskiThe hotel is not easy to find: LOCA app for local taxis does not see this hotel so the passengers must pin the location on the map themselves. The entrance is not really representative - guests have to enter the ”Mister Donut” shop which has predominant sign over the door while the information about the existence of the hotel in this place is just a banner on the pavement.
The room price includes a breakfast but it is served from 8 am which makes it impossible to get for someone who must leave at this time (please note that many hotels serve breakfast from 7 am)
Finally, in the description of the rooms there is no information that the rooms have actually NO hot water which - for some guests - might make significant difference.
The staff speak very little English so any more sophisticated communication (beyond ”Good morning”) must be performed using translator apps.
DDamien DI stayed at the Aaron hotel twice in December 2019. What I like about this hotel: spacious room, huge bathroom, many toiletries, a lot of cabinets and drawers to store clothes, the Mekong river view, the fitness center. Everytime the staff helped us to park in front of the hotel as our car is to low to go down the parking lot. I stayed at many hotels in Vientiane and there is no hotel with such amenities at this price. The staff has been always friendly to me I cannot comment on their English as I converse with them in Lao. People complained about the breakfast but I stayed at Best Western Hotel next door and the breakfast was similar even if the room is twice the price of Aaron Hotel.
AAntoniusLocation is far from tourist attractions and local restaurant. It is like Chinatown which alot of Chinese restaurant. Not recommended for tourist that looking for local experience. Front Staff is helpful, friendly and informative except the housekeeping (they talked loudly in the corridor while cleaning and shouting) so noisy plus people slamming the door, couple fighting and shouting, construction noise. I can't even sleep well whole stay. Plus things is the amenity is complete, drinking water, comb, tooth brush, hair dryer , shampoo and shower gel.
