Hotels near Sargadelos, Vigo

Excellent hotel. This hotel was very modern and the room I had was big (for Europe). The staff was nice and welcoming and could check me in earlier than I expected (I arrived around noon). The bathroom was normal size (for Europe) and there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. They also offered some toiletries if you needed them. The hotel is located very centrally being only a few steps away from the city center and an easy walk to the port. The hotel offered breakfast but I didn’t ask for that since the price seemed steep (especially when you can buy something at a cafe for cheaper) One recommendation I have is if you are driving a car to ask them where to park before going there, as the parking is a few blocks away and you can’t park on the street (or if you can you’re a pro at finding parking). Just understand that if you park anywhere other than where they tell you, you could be charged more than once. I parked at a different parking garage up a few streets and the hotel staff told me that I could come and go with parking after paying the discounted rate of 15€. They also said all the underground parking was “the same”. It is not the same. The underground parking is literally huge and there are several options and you could walk forever when trying to find your car. Anyhow, I left the other garage and toured the city and then parked in the garage they recommended, thinking I was covered with the pay one rate plan. Unfortunately this was not the case and I was out another 15€ to get out of the parking garage. An extremely pricey lesson to learn. Other than the parking issue, I really liked the hotel and would return if in the area (just without a car)

We were really excited to visit Vigo & this hotel has a great location and looked beautiful and as we were meeting our son there , we looked forward to using the rooftop pool as advertised. I was so disappointed my son was in a camper bed , the shutters came up automatically at 8am making the room really bright & noisy. But the most disappointing was told to book the pool for on 1 hour was €25 per day per person. I was so upset and for 4 star hotel and cost was misleading. The assistant manager on reception that day when I complained was abrupt and when I said , if a pool is advertised they need to say its additional 225 for use of stay . She said it was not Ireland I was in , it was Vigo . I regret booking this hotel.

Everything has been fine, fully in line with the desired. The staff was excellent. Thank you very much.

In desperate need of some TLC. Studio apartment,no kettle asked and got one straight away. No toaster but not a problem as we decided to take breakfast in the hotel. Bathroom vent full of thick dust and fluff and had to insist that they clean it. Scandinavia type furniture which didn't really work with the pink marble floors. Bed was comfy. Reception helpful and pleasant. Would have had the New year gala dinner in the associated restaurant but at the asking price of 250 euros per person no way. Tremendous promotion of Vigo for Christmas and the illuminations from the Mayor of Vigo but absolutely not geared for tourism. 1st of January and everything closed. Definitely not recommend in winter.

Buena ubicación y no se oía nada pese a estar en una calle transitada,habitación con cama muy cómodas y personal muy atento ,no es un hotel moderno pero estaba todo muy limpio ,con el coche a 5 minutos del centro!!

For work reasons, I habitually use hotel facilities, and for emotional reasons, I am also the father of the deputy directors of two hotels in a well-known Spanish hotel chain, but for objective considerations, I must admit that Vigo’s This Pazo dos Escudos hotel is one of them. The top ten best hotel complexes in Spain have the best quality of facilities, furniture, underwear, etc. This is a real gem, and your property and employees have ”responsibility and obligations” to move on. Congratulations

The hotel has everything we expected and more. Excellent location to visit the wonderful Rias Bajas area, walking distance from restaurants, easy access , free parking available at all times. Excellent spotless room, with balcony, some view of the Ria de Vigo and very comfortable bathroom. We reserved a superior room with view. The staff helpful and friendly, they gave us their WhatsApp number and were in contact for anything we needed. An easy walk to the ferry that runs punctually back and forth to Vigo with no need to drive (or a 4 minute drive to the ferry). One little detail, for fair review, is the mattress which was a bit soft for our taste, but the bed made up for it with very ample space for us so we slept very well. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very helpful. A buffet with all sorts of tasty things and you can order any type of eggs cooked on the spot. On the day we travelled to Vigo we went out early to get the first ferry and they had our breakfast ready in the coffee room downstairs with fresh Juice and Coffee. Other guests very very quiet and it was very pleasant to be in the breakfast room. I think older reviews are form before the pandemic and it seems the hotel and the breakfast service reopened with new energy and care. I seldom give a 10 in a review, but this place deserves it well.

The site is beautiful surrounded by a forest of eucalyptus and rubles. Ideal if you go with animals. Peace is beautiful and very old. When we arrived we had a problem with the shower that was broken, it was a very warm day, and we couldn't do ourselves. At first we were told that they could not do anything until Monday (as it was Saturday) and we asked them for a solution, of course. We put the situation on them and the employees literally ”dislived” for it. Maria removed Rome with Santiago (never better said) to find a fountainer. Jessi proposed to change our room by seeing that it could not be solved. Montse came to see how we were several times and the boy (sorry but I don't know his name) cared for us gently. And how beautiful it was to wake up in the morning and listen to Mary's greeting of ”Good morning, how have you sleeped?” And the deal with our dog was INDEMBER. Un hotel pequeño, te sientes como en casa, aparte de ser bonito su exterior , tiene bonitas sus vistas desde la terraza. Cenamos en plan sandwich y genial, calidad precio estupendo. Las camas muy cómodas, el baño completo, y todo, todo super limpio. Todo el personal simpáticos y amables. Si visitamos de nuevo la zona, volveremos seguro.
