Niet mijn gewoonte om te reageren maar nu wel. We moesten voor privé zaken op woensdag 18-12 om 11.00 uur in Vise zijn. Omdat het vanuit Mijdrecht toch wel en stukje rijden is keken we naar een simpel hotelletje op ongeveer een uurtje rijden van Vise Dat vonden we in Vijlen en boekte een budget kamer (was toch om alleen om te slapen) incl een dinner. Gezien de datum verwachtte we een simpel en rustig hotel. Maar eenmaal aangekomen moesten we onze verwachting bijstellen. Hotel volgeboekt en we treffen een heel gezellige sfeer. Veel jonge bedienden die laten zien dat je werken ook met plezier kunt doen. Onze budget kamer voldoet precies aan wat we ons hadden voorgesteld. Alleen de douche was zeker geen low budget…..gewoon prachtig. Dan op naar het dinner, we hadden een 4 gangen dinner besteld. Gezien de prijs geen torenhoge verwachtingen. Maar dat je voor die prijs zo’n mooi dinner kunt serveren. Chapeau!! Het flesje plaatselijke wijn paste prima bij de zalm. In de morgen kregen we wat we nu al verwachte, een meer dan fatsoenlijk onbijt. Heel veel variatie en alles ruim voldoende. Kortom, als je niets verwacht en zo wordt verrast pas een bedankje!! We hebben de omgeving ook bekeken en het is een prachtig fietsgebied. En met de e-bike prima te doen. Zag dat we een midweek kunnen boeken. We gaan de agenda raadplegen en komen zeker terug. Prachtig landschap
Mooie ligging, vriendelijk personeel, goede bedden en extra kussens, nieuwe badkamer. Lagen aan de dalkant, heel stil buiten. Raam kon gewoon open. Heerlijk. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Komen zeker terug!

Great home away from home
Second time I've stayed here. it's been about five years and it everything was as good as I remembered. I would definitely come back again. Greek breakfast and all of the staff are very nice.

Zeer goed hotel
Prima hotel heerlijke bedden zeer goed ontbijt en heel aardige mensen. Dit is de derde keer dat we er verbleven.

wij hadden een budget kamer gereserveerd voor 2 nachten. Een prima basic kamer, heel schoon, goede bedden en een ruime badkamer. Beide avonden in het hotel gegeten. Een gevarieerd menu, de porties zijn wel erg groot. Het ontbijt buffet was ook niets mis mee, veel variatie. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom een heel fijn hotel, waar wij zeker terugkomen. Voor een lekker -streek- biertje is A Gen Kirch ( vlak bij het hotel) zeker een aanrader.

een top hotel mooie kamers en proper mooie badkamer airco op de kamer vriendelijk personeel de keuken is top en lekker en ruime portie 's een heerlijk ontbijt en mooie terras en gebruik ook lokale producten gratis parkeren doe zo verder we verblijven 1 nacht en komen terug

The hotel is nicely located, the room is nice with a nice new bathroom. Breakfast is extensive (unfortunately the machine coffee is not special). What stands out is the hospitality of the owner. Upon arrival it is nice to receive a warm welcome, but here only a registration form was shoved under your nose. You will then be addressed via instructions to a new employee. We are asked what time we would like to have dinner, but after the answer (“7 o'clock, half past seven”) this is actually not the intention (so late). Then make a reservation at 7:00 PM, but due to unexpected crowds, the food arrives at 8:10 PM. The burgers are blackened, apparently I'm stressing the kitchen. The local st. Martinus wine is very tasty! The young service staff is very friendly, as is the lady at breakfast. When we leave, the owner is staring at her phone and can't wait a day. Too bad, all the ingredients are present for a top stay, now just some authentic cordiality from the owner.
