I literally never make reviews but this was insane. I went to stay at the Quality Inn on Saturday. I immediately decided the room wasn’t going to work for me when I walked in and got a headache from the smoke smell in my non-smoking room. I asked for a refund and for a hotel somewhere else. They said while I was there that I would see the refund soon. On Monday I called them back because I still hadn’t seen a refund on my account, and I’d actually instead been charged twice by Quality Inn. We don’t have the ability to have $250 out of our account at any time as we are a small family with lower income. I called and the British woman I talked to was rude, but she gave me confirmation numbers and said that everything would be refunded soon and no longer be pending. The next day (Tuesday) I called again after noticing one of the two charges had went through with my bank. I was frustrated and expressed this. The British woman immediately cut me off and wouldn’t listen to me. She told me that she’d already done everything on her end and said I’d just have to wait and call my bank. I understand that it takes time, but this happened Saturday and it’s now Tuesday and the only progress has been that my card was officially charged for one purchase. I’m more frustrated with how the British woman handled the call. She was extremely rude and even raised her voice with me multiple times. She cut me off and hung up on me abruptly too. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again

I got the last room, so I was stuck with a smoking room, which was nauseating. However, other than that, it was a nice place. It was clean and well furnished. The breakfast left a bit to be desired. I skipped the food and just had coffee. They charge a $100 deposit. I've never had that before, so the clientele may be lower class. They also put a night light in the room, which can't be turned off. The toilet paper holder was broken.

...and I say that after having been burned at a couple of Quality Inn locations in Georgia in the last 2.5 years. This location restores my faith. A fairly recent renovation is apparent. The outside is clean and well kept. The plumbing works, and doesn't creak or moan. The water pressure is great. If the tub has been relined, it wasn't with one of those canoe-shaped liners you can't turn around in. Floor in the room was clean and the bed (along with linens and pillows) was very comfortable. These rooms exit to an outside walk. I generally think of this style property as having a lot of outside noise. Not this one; and it was a fairly busy night. (Maybe everyone around was just tired.) The TV is aggravating, but that's common at a lot of places. At least this one doesn't require the l-o-n-g pause before every channel change. Missouri Hillbilly's review led me to book here. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Let me start off by saying the rooms were clean and the staff on shift both night and day were pleasant. I booked two rooms. However, we booked through Agoda which advertised an indoor pool. It was only after we were checked in when I asked what time the pool opened, the male at the front desk said it was closed for the season. I asked about the indoor pool and he responded with its outdoors. I advised him that it was showing an indoor pool which is why I booked there. He only stated again it was outdoor. I contacted Agoda and between them and Quality Inn, they agreed to give me back my second night’s stay with the agreement I would check out the next morning. I did as agreed. I had paid a deposit after arriving at the hotel of $100. This deposit was supposed to have gone back on my card after we left. It’s been 9 days and I still have not received my deposit back. When I called Quality Inn Corporate office, they advised to email the hotel which I stayed in because they were stating they did not have my card on file, which obviously is a lie. So I emailed the hotel where we stayed 3 days ago and have yet to get a response back. I’ve been jerked around by Agoda (DO NOT RECOMMEND AND I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN) as well as Quality Inn, which I will also never stay with again. This is terrible business. Especially considering we left the rooms immaculate. I’ve tried to wait to send this review until after everything was resolved but it’s clear Quality Inn has stolen my $100 and yet they still got their money. I didn’t get so much as an apology for the false advertisement of the indoor pool. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, the curtains would not close all the way or overlap so there was an opening where others could see in to the room.
