We needed accommodation in Lyon for just one night. What a surprise to find a pleasant, “natural” place in the middle of the city, where it was good to set foot after a day in the city and spend a good night in a calm and silent area. Lovely place with a comfortable, pleasant, nicely decorated room and a comfortable bed. The bathroom and toilets are shared, however with only 2 other rooms. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with good quality equipment. The place is scrupulously clean. It is close to public transport. The breakfast was fantastic, even for someone who is gluten free. Philippe was very welcoming and friendly and a great host. The internet is great and secure.
The downside for me was the cost which was higher than I normally pay. I thought the breakfast was included in the price I paid for the room which mitigated the extra for me. Unfortunately it was not and I had to pay 12 Euros a day. I paid this as I thought it was worth it on this occasion, however this should have been clear on the listing.

We stayed 4 nights and slept like babies! The bedding, the cleanliness, the soundproofing of the rooms and their very relaxing decor, everything is perfect. And what can we say about Philippe and his incredible breakfast with his yogurts, his chocolate mousse and his jams, all homemade. He receives you with such kindness and kindness. We were a little apprehensive about having to share common bathrooms. But in the end everything went very well. Finally, regarding the geographical location, you are ideally located 5 minutes by car from the ring road, 5 minutes on foot from the first bus stop and 10 to 15 minutes from the Tram and Metro and in addition, you have a secure parking space this which is very appreciable for stays like ours where you arrive with your car. I really recommend and thank Philippe again for his welcome.
