The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Ivenia at the front desk. She seemed unflappable as she listened & resolved our concerns. Our TV seemed bewitched, turning itself on with welcoming messages to other guests throughout our stay. The only unpleasant events was the early Saturday morning loud voices in the hall & listening to the guest next door vomiting in his toilet. We will bring our own pillows when we return.

We were there for a business engagement and were wonderfully greeted and taken care of by Ivenia. The grounds are well manicured and facilities are very clean. I was there with a large group and they had great things to say about the staff also.

Have been here many times but customer service was over the top this time. It started with Ivenia and Tyler at the front desk. Not only were they warm and friendly, they went out of their way to find an upgrade for us. Then we proceeded to the Cafe/Lounge where Alison greeted and served us (and all the customers) with a fun personality and great efficiency. Great to be somewhere that service is still important!

Ivenia is so awesome! If she is any indication of the service we will receive then it will be a great stay ! She was super sweet and knowledgeable. We had a long drive so we wanted to get in our room and nap. She made it all possible. Ask for Ivenia !!

The room had a bad smell to it. The hotel has a nice old century vibe. I would recommend that the carpets be changed because the current ones hold odor. I am not happy with the restaurant. Problems and hiccups happen. The response though was rude and avoidant of taking ownership of the problem.

I attended a family wedding, this hotel is pet friendly, so I reached out to the hotel management to see if they had any viable option where pets would not be present. They informed me that they have several buildings and there was a single building that pets were not allowed. This seemed to be a viable option given I have pet allergies. I was fully prepared to stay at another location but they assure me that this single building would suit me well so I decided to stay based on that advisement. Shortly after arriving I not only saw pets in the building I was staying but it smelled mildew. I had a major asthma attack 1 hr before my cousin's wedding. When talking to hotel staff both on site and on the phone afterward they were unconcerned and unhelpful and presented no recompense for my experience. This some of the worst customer service I experienced especially considering how traumatic my experience was.

What can I say? Well, I am a regular at The Founder’s Inn and enjoy every stay. My last stay was on 9/9 and 9/11. I met two wonderful people at the front desk. Tyler and Ivenia were great. They attended to all of my needs and went beyond that. I am truly grateful to have met them and I look forward to returning on 9/14, 9/17 and 9/20-22. No place I would rather be on VB then The Founder’s Inn.

This stay has been amazing. I loved the property aesthetics "old fashioned" theme. It was very relaxing and loved the seating throughout the property. Ivenia & Tyler were AMAZING! Very accommodating and offered the treasure box for my son.
