Hotel Winsar Park

We stayed in Winsar park for 3 nights in 2 rooms and the whole experience was a pleasant one. The staff was courteous enough to facilitate an early check-in. The rooms and lenin were clean and had required amenities (Wardrobe with electronic locker, mini fridge, TV, kettle, hot and cold water, etc). The breakfast buffet spread was good too. The hotel is close to city center (Jagadamba center) and beach is 5 mins away. Overall we found the stay quite satisfying and would recommend it.

The hotel place is difficult to find, even for the local auto/cab people. There are some good places to eat around. It was not a good experience staying at this place. First of all, the amenities description are false. Hotel person blamed mm t for the false information so i am not sure who is at fault. Next, the management of hotel is utterly poor, there was so much noise during my stay. Even the hotel room was full of dust everywhere. Highly disappointed. The location and facilities are appreciable if it can be managed properly.

We visited there for a family trip and it was completely worth it. Amazing hotel, breath taking views, best food and courteous staff. Everything was upto the mark . The infinity pool have the best view of roaring ocean in the background and every room has an extended balcony where you can sit and relax with waves dancing on the front. All staffs were quite professional and courteous. Special thanks to Sansuli ,Manisha for your warm hospitality, to barman Mr. Suresh,Nur singh and F&B team leader Mr. Ranjit for some of the best cocktails from the bar, specially curated as per preferences, to F&B manager Mr. Sunil Kumar for curtailing our every preferences and choices regarding food and beverage. Chef Naidu and Nookaraju were quite proactive with their suggestions regarding sea food and made some delicious sea food that were quite amazing in taste. At last but not least, a big big thanks to Mr. Yona, asst manager from front office, who took care of our entire stay ,was always available for any assistance and put all his efforts to ensure we have one of the best customer service experience. Such humble employees are the real asset for any organisation and people would love to travel again and again for their warm hospitality and customer centric attitude.

Let me start off with the good points. The scenery where the resort is located is beautiful and serene. The staff in the dining area is helpful and polite. They provided extra mattresses when we asked them and they also cleaned the pool when we requested. And here are the reasons why I wouldn't recommend this place. First, there's ZERO maintenance. We booked 3 cottages (well in advance!) for 11 people. A staff came into the cottage with us to fix the broken flush the moment we checked in. The lights in the other cottage won't work. The heater is those portable ones that you need to dangle in a bucket of water with a piece of stick. The blankets stink, the pillows are stained, and the sheets are badly worn out and torn in a few places. There is no screen on the doors, meaning you'll need to close both front and back doors of the window-less cottage to keep the assorted insects out at night. While there's fresh air outside, you'll end up sleeping without ventilation. All booking was done online through their own website. However, they tried to charge us extra, saying there was a glitch in their system. On the same note, they tried to add ₹5 as room service charge for each food item that we actually consumed in their restaurant. We never once ordered room service. Our main issue is with the mattress on the bed. It was way too soft. My mother and aunt both have knee problems, and once they got in bed, it was not only uncomfortable to sleep in, it was also a challenge getting up from it. They couldn't sleep at all. After years of exclusively sleeping in beds, they both actually had to sleep on the floor and wake up with severe knee and back pain! We went there to relax but ended up stressed-out instead. Nobody slept well. Such a shame, considering there's so much potential for improvement.
