Hoewel ik huiverig was voor de lage kwalificatie, was die angst ongegrond. Als je geen probleem hebt met het ontbreken van een lift, is dit een voortreffelijke keuze nabij het gezellige centrum van Vitoria-Gasteiz, het bij veel mensen onbekende pareltje van het Baskenland. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen bij de receptie, ontbijten kun je bij diverse gelegenheden op nog geen 100 meter afstand, je loopt binnen enkele minuten naar de tramhaltes en het treinstation, en staat binnen no time op het gezellige Plaza Virgen Blanca. i found this hostel to be a brilliant place to stay and wouldn't change a thing. i stayed for 2 nights in august. firstly, the woman on reception was LOVELY and very helpful answering any questions and so nice just to chat to. the location was perfect, in the old town so many great bars with great atmosphere very close and not far walking to the main plaza. i recommend la gilderia 3mins away for a vermouth and delicious pintxos. as long as you don't expect any fancy touches (bring your own toothpaste / soap / towel, no breakfast (but a fully functioning kitchen) then this will work great for you and for the price (23 euros) it was very good value. i actually had a whole dormitory to myself plus a clean bathroom with a good shower, and locker for safe keeping. very much recommended
