Pros: The hotel looks fairly new, and would be good for total relaxation by the pool, or for anyone who does not wish to do any exploring as it’s quite isolated. As it’s practically at the top of a hill, it offers lovely views of the sea. Rooms and common areas are clean. Cons: The hotel is up a winding and steep hill, so one would need a powerful hire car. There is no access to the beach. A taxi ride down to the nearest beach at Dhermi (where there are many shops & restaurants) would set you back about 15-20 euros each way. Breakfast was limited and unimaginative, probably because there were not many guests staying when we were there. The offering was the same for the 3 mornings we stayed. As regards toiletries, we had 3 small bottles of shampoo, but bizarrely, no shower gel or body lotion. We doubt if we will stay here again as we have since discovered that there are many rental apartments and competitively priced hotels down by the beaches at Dhermi and Palase.

Hotel is amazing, Luxury all round, pool view was absolutely stunning, the view from the room was just as amazing. Breakfast was delicious especially the home cooked chocolate donuts and pink croissant. All hotel staff were very friendly, they looked out for mine and my good friends 4 year olds which you wouldn’t normally get. The hotel manger was very friendly and also very generous and sat with us one evening and offered us drinks and food. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely be returning when i next visit.

Fantastique hôtel, fantastique personnel, fantastique vue.
Tout a été parfait, nous avons déjà hâte de revenir.
Nous étions un couple avec un bébé de 1 an, tout est fait pour petit et grands !

Flott hotell med god utsikt. Vi hadde leiebil, som gjorde det enkelt å ta seg til strendene i området. Men det går fint an å nyte noen dager ved bassengkanten på hotellet. Hyggelig vert. Frokosten er helt ok.

Il tramonto più bello della città, l’albergo è nuovissimo camere nuovissime, pulito. Piscina con vista mare bellissima, personale e staff dell’hotel gentilissimo. Un grazie particolare a Juli che è stato di fondamentale aiuto, anche a livello organizzativo per noi che era la prima volta in Albania. Torneremo a trovarvi, grazie!

We were a group of 25 people on a work trip and stayed at Amare for two nights. The rooms were amazing: brand new, extremely cleanz spacious and very comfortable. Each of our rooms had a balcony with a great view to the sea. The mattresses and pillows were so comfortable. Our group had the best sleep and rest on our journey. The owner and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had amazing dinners, with fresh vegetables and delicious meat, pasta, appetiziers. The pool was a nice touch too! Greatly reccommended for work trips with large groups, but also for families or couples looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable and welcoming place during their vacation

La simpatia di Julian (che parla benissimo in italiano) il suo raki fatto in casa e il trileche sono eccezionali. Camere pulite, vista sulla baia e ottima la posizione in alto, sopra la strada nazionale. Volendo ci si può anche cenare. Dimenticavo, Julian sa fare anche ottimi cocktail.
