As many others around, this seems to be a lovely family business. You cannot expect too much: the villa is nice, and it gives you an impression of home, whether you like it or not. The owners are wonderful, but you need to keep in mind that the rooms are very basic. And, while the location is picturesque and peaceful, it is quite far from major beaches (Perissa) and sightseeings (Oia).

The villa is a charming little get-a-way in Southern Santorini, in the little port town of Vlychada. Stavros, our host, is this most amazing person anyone could ever ask for, extremely helpful, friendly and fun! A totally idyllic, peaceful heaven, that is the perfect base for a Santorini adventure, with charming hosts and staff, that are ready to help you with any trouble.

Cette réservation faite un peu au hasard en transit, s’est avérée un bon choix. L’accueii est parfait. Les chambres donnent par une terrasse privative sur une cour interieure avec une piscine fermée aux heures de repos. Le cadre est agréable. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées.

One of the best hotels we have been to would definitely be this. The friendly staff made us feel extremely welcome. The immaculate and spacious rooms had large, comfortable beds and excellent food for breakfast and also from their restaurant which all added up to make it an exceptional experience and a joy to be at the hotel also with it only being a 15 min drive from Fira( the capital city of Santorini). It was away from all the crowds but close enough to the attractions for a pleasant stay. It was also very close to a fine beach where you could also see the famous sunset debatably as well as you could from Oia( famous for its sunset). Overall this was an amazing accommodation to stay at and if we would come back to Santorini we would pick this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Michalis, the welcome is charming and simple, it’s very pleasant. The rooms are very pretty and there are small private terraces, which is nice. However, they are a little small and we regretted not having a kettle with coffee or tea available. The breakfast is very complete and customizable. It is quiet. We hear the birds in the morning when we wake up. The swimming pool is very beautiful and certainly very pleasant in summer (we are a little too cold to swim in spring ☺️)

I have traveled at least half way around the world and stayed at many places. The Villa Michalis is the absolute "BEST". The rooms are basic, but incredibly clean. The Restaraunt (Meroula) has incredible fresh food. Everynight there were people from other hotels eating there. tHE STAFF, is the best I have ever seen. Stavros, the owner and his Wife are the ultimate host. They do everything for you. THe location is 15 minutes from the tourist towns and right on the harbor for breathtaking sunsets. All this at a price that is way, way les than anywhere else. If you like a clean, simple room with a Fabolus Staff then this is the place.

We stayed here for one week, we needed a relaxing holiday, from the minute we arrived we were made to feel like family by Michalis, his wife and Stavros. Our room was so clean and serviced every day. The breakfast was plentiful. The evening meals delicious. Would I come back, in a heart beat. Thanks for a wonderful holiday 😊
