I love the villa so much. The owner is really warm and polite.

The owner's yard is amazing! Manor Hotel. We drove to the hotel in the middle of the night. When the owner heard that we were Chinese, he was still very enthusiastic to take us to park the car in the middle of the night and introduce us to the room. The house is very old, but it doesn't affect its cleanliness at all. It was so beautiful when I woke up in the morning.

宮殿酒店非常很有特色，帶有免費停車場，離羊角村不遠。本身所在的小鎮也很安逸。

The staff was very welcoming and gave us tips on where to travel in the area. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. The food was great and very fresh and the lady serving us was very helpful. The hotel grounds were very well kept and the building was beautifully decorated.

Wonderfully welcoming staff. Relaxed ambience throughout the property. Elegant dining rooms. Large comfortable bedroom with good amenities in the room. Very nice evening meal (for a separate price) and an enjoyable breakfast (included in the price). Excellent value for money (in the week). No lifts though so if you have big suitcases, this could be a problem (that said, the staff helped us up with our light bags). The room we had had steps down into the room which made it difficult getting out as you had to step back down to pull the door inwards. Would definitely like to come and stay at this property again.

Wonderful estate to stay in, it was great again! a beautiful hotel where you are really treated as a guest. We slept in the coach house, which is highly recommended, quiet and fully equipped. Ate in the restaurant 4 courses with a delicious Rioja. What can Maaike cook, it was delicious again. And the breakfast was so delicious and a friendly lady who took care of you down to the last detail. We have been coming there for years and it is always TOP. And then how clean it is, really really clean. A big 10 for the housekeeping. We'll be going again soon.

We all stayed (5 people) in the Koetshuis, 1 romantic room upstairs with a bubble bath, and two stylish rooms on the ground floor. In the common room there is a small attractive kitchen. Everything decorated with love, beautiful view over the garden. We also had dinner here and it was delicious, in a beautiful dining room with very attentive service. The breakfast was also great! All in all, highly recommended for both families and couples. Super nice, motivated people who work there. The surroundings are also worth seeing, everything in style, such as the adjacent park with the ruins.

Spent a wonderful weekend after the hectic month of December, beautiful relaxing surroundings. Eating, drinking and sleeping in a beautiful ambiance with fantastic service. Highly recommended. We will come again soon.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon 7/8/2022 around 3pm and were met by a young lady. We had been called the day before by a gentleman from the hotel stating that we should come directly to the hotel on Sunday and not first go to the information office in the town of Blokzijl, as we had planned, all documentation would be ready, he said and he was going to explain everything to us. The young lady at the desk was not aware of this and knew nothing about documentation and information, etc. Anyway, we had opted for a "Deluxe double room"... when I saw it I immediately asked for another room, I showed the photo which was listed on *********** and said that this did not match the room we had reserved. She said she couldn't because it was full. (there was no one there...) As a result, we had to stay in this old-fashioned room with a dirty window curtain that we could not raise (was broken), gray thick duvet (in summer), gray sheets, rock hard mattress. A very old (not clean) cupboard without drawers to store our clothes. Very little space, no chairs but 2 old-fashioned seats. Room was a disaster, didn't smell fresh. We stayed there for 4 nights and practically didn't sleep a wink. Around 4:30 PM I went to the reception to ask for toilet paper, I called 20 times, made phone calls, etc. there was no cat there, we were very alone in that hotel. The next morning I spoke to the "gentleman" about this and he said that we had not received a telephone and that we had a deluxe double room, etc.... I understood... The breakfast was sufficient but the same every day. On a long table that was supposed to be a buffet... there was barely anything on it, mini Nuttella jars, a little jam, fruit and yoghurts whose date had expired by more than 1 week. I pointed it out to them and asked for fresh yogurt... I got a large bag of yogurt, I don't know if it was fresh, I left it there.

Fantastic location with hosts who do everything they can to make you feel completely at home. Reception was warm and relaxed. After a day on the bike there was a great dinner for which a special room was arranged for our group of 10. In short: recommended.
