Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso Reviews

We were invited to a wedding on the Athenian Riviera. We chose a Divani first location and amenities. Unfortunate, it is one of those prices hotels in the area. They also charged us €20 do use the gym and €50 to use the indoor massage therapy pool. I thought that was very expensive and should be included in the package. There is a free breakfast Buffet every morning. Nothing too extraordinary as the Greeks do not have big breakfast us as do the Americans.

Excellent hotel!

Well located hotel The breakfast is great Average rooms and beds that are really not comfortable for the back The swimming pool is superb but the beach is a little small actually.

The environment of the hotel is very beautiful, and you can see the mountains and sea of Athens from the balcony. The facilities are relatively complete, and the sanitation is okay, but because it is being renovated, it is a bit noisy. The service is more attentive.

The room layout is very good

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet venue. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools and right on the beachfront.

I stayed three nights here in February. The most appreciated aspects were the seaside view, the sauna, the breakfast buffet, the complimentary shuttle service, and above all else, the friendly and professional staff. However, all in all, this hotel—and perhaps hotels in general—has come to be outdated. The pictures are highly deceiving. The only pool available to me at the time was a small, cold pool in the gym area. The gym itself was nothing more than some weights and few machines, some of which out of order. While I paid for a deluxe suite, those pictures too are highly deceptive; the room is small and uses the illusion of mirrors, and had no bathtub, and no smart TV for streaming purposes. The surrounding area is a beautiful seaside, with a shallow sand-bar beach. But as for access to restaurants and shopping, this area cannot compete with downtown Athens. There are a few (nice) seaside restaurants to choose from out front, but you are largely surrounded by residential buildings. If you want to take a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find a more lively ***** for shopping and dining. Overall, for the price, this hotel could not compete with the amenities available with Airbnbs, nor the centrality of downtown Athens. Perhaps this hotel is best for business meetings, and those who desire to utilize the spa.

Great staff and professional service. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Shout out to Maria ( senior team leader) at the reception and to all the restaurant staff. Great breakfast. Great food and service. Great shuttle service to constitution square. The room had a lovely sunny morning and evening view. I was happy to be upgraded upon arrival. Five stars!

Beautiful hotel near the water, staff was friendly, and would stay there again. They left us a hand written note with drinks upon arrival. Had an issue checking in since the system was down so they offered us free drinks too. Top notch hotel!

This Hotel is a five star and not expensive at all.The staff was very cordial,and was super clean.The service was impecable.

It was a beautiful hotel. My husband and I stayed for a week and we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest the hotel to have the indoor pool water at a more warmer temperature. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool because the water was freezing and we weren’t the only ones who couldn’t get in for the same reason. We wanted to enjoy it since that day was windy and cold outside we wanted to stay in. Overall everything else was GREAt!
