facility were old and hard to stay overnight. staff contact is very difficult. Phone was out of date. Too many local people who don't care about the noise. Don't stay here

Melody bill themselves as luxury apartments. This may have been true when they were fist built but certainly not these days. We were given a number to call when we arrived in order to get access to the apartment. We called the number and after spending about 20 minutes sweltering in the non air conditioned lobby a girl finally appeared to tell us she had no record of our reservation. I provided a copy of the e-mail confirmation. She disappeared and returned after another 20 minutes or so and took us to view an apartment. It was terrible. Cheaply furnished and most definitely not like the pictures on the booking site which must have been taken when the apartments were new. We asked to see another apartment which was slightly better but still far removed from luxury. Reluctantly we accepted if only to avoid the hassle of having to look for an alternative at short notice. This apartment was also very cheaply furnished but had the basic necessities. There were notices all over the apartment advising of 'fines' for not keeping the place clean, for making noise after 2200, for not emptying the trash and several other petty requirements. One saving grace we did have a sea view. I would NOT recommend this place. Please note, they only accept payment in cash, VND.
