Travelodge Wadebridge

My room was dirty , bad stains on the carpet , cobwebs over kettle and dirty hand marks all over the door

Very comfortable bed, I slept like a baby and actually slept in longer than I usually do. The shower was great also with plenty of hot water. Location ok, Aldi and Tesco across the road and about a ten minute drive to Wade bridge centre for restaurants.

Very poor experience of the room, and the subsequent handling of my complaint. There was no hot water in the morning, only brown cold water coming out of the tap. This seems to not be the first time this has happened at the hotel as per other previous reviews. The receptionist said that the other guests had emptied the tank, and it was drawing sludge from the bottom. They said they only have one boiler working for some time. Other guests were also complaining as we left. Also the room was not dark at night as the curtains fitted badly and a floodlight directly above our window. The parking is right up against the ground floor windows and so we were woken by a diesel engine at 6am. Our request for refund was denied and travelodge customer services obstinate and unhelpful. If a hotel cannot get the basics right and treat customers well then it is very disappointing.

We have visited this Travelodge a number of times as it is so well placed for the Camel Trail and other parts of North Cornwall and it represents great value for money. Always a friendly welcome. Always very clean and well presented and comfortable rooms. It is a Travelodge so you know what you are getting, but it doesn't disappoint. I had contact with the Manager, Emma, prior to our visit. She was very helpful and accommodating and replied to my queries very quickly and positively. Only an overnight for us from Devon to Cornwall but thoroughly enjoyable as always. Thank you.

first time ever in a travel lodge with 2 large golden retrievers the person on the reception sorry didn’t get their name placed us in a ground floor room which was much easier for us with toilet breaks very reasonably priced only stayed the one night but would definitely come back and the free car park was a bonus lovely and clean too

We used the hotel as a base to visit the Wadebridge area and got 4 nights at a great price. The staff were friendly, helpful and the room was clean. Plenty of parking and the pub next door has a great range of food. Although it's at the top of the town, it's only a 5 to 10 min walk down the hill. Also, visit Barnecutt's over the road for breakfast, cakes etc.

Such a lovely hotel and in such a wonderful location. We had a great view from our room. The staff were very friendly and made my family feel very welcome indeed. A great base to explore Padstow, the Eden Project and Tintagel Castle. We all had a fantastic time. Thank you.

We stayed for two nights at Travelodge Wadebridge. This was our first stay at Travelodge Wadebridge and we were very happy with our experience there. From a very welcoming gentleman who answered all of our questions and was very helpful, he could not do enough for us to make our stay welcoming. Thank you Abdul, its a delight to have someone with a positive attitude who represents Traveloge like you on the front desk. Also to the young lady who looked after our room during our stay, again she went out of her way to help us, a big thank you to her. The room way clean and tidy, and we had two great nights sleep. We were very pleased with our stay at this Traveodge, and would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area. Thank you again Travelodge Wadebridge and to your fab staff for making our stay feel relaxing and welcoming.

Very good value stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, smelt fresh and everything worked as it should. Had three quiet nights, bed was comfy and we were very warm and cosy. Very good base for trips out to Padstow, Newquay etc with an M and S nearby for treats etc.
