First the good news. It was a good size room and was pretty clean. Since we were staying for a week, that was helpful. And only $75 a night. Sadly - the bad news outweighs the good news. I had reservations for Sunday through Friday. But guess what? Nobody is there on Sunday and the rooms aren't ready until Monday. I had called twice to double check both on the reservation and on a fridge in the room. TWO chances to say they're not open on Sundays. Their solution was to send us 25 miles away to Motley for the night and discount the cost of the dog. Unfortunately, we still had to be back near Wadena that night, so we're now 50 miles extra. Then let's talk about the mattress. I knelt on the bed and my knee went through to the box spring. (Not breaking the mattress). Thinking maybe I could sleep in the middle of the bed didn't work as there is a serious ridge between the two sides. After a couple of sleepless nights, I got the cushion I drive with and put it in the largest part of the sagging mattress to even it out. I love to stay at motels - especially if they're locally owned. I love the convenience of parking next to the door as sometimes we have a lot of gear that we travel with. I would never stay at this one again. My back couldn't take it.
