Golfview Motor Inn

I’ve stayed at this Motor Inn a few times and I highly recommend it. It’s off the Highway but the noise is very low as it sits below the road surface. The Welcome is sincere and the Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is away from the CBD but it’s only a 4 minute drive. There are plenty of eating options and the area lends itself to country hospitality. Highly recommended.
City Park Motel and Apartments

Budget motel. Spotlessly clean. Like most motels in this price range around Australia they are old. But could not flaw the clean state of the room. Also had nice garden at front. (which i think demonstrates managers care for a property) . Location good for travellers passing through. Its on main road but at night traffic dies down. Ours had newish carpet, new air con, new bed head, new microwave, tv, toilet, and hand been painted as some point. Linen was also professionally done by external co South pacific. Thanks, will use again when passing through wagga wagga. They do allow pets. Rules are not at all strict. They are normal and much appreciate this offering. The policy is clear on website and they even go through the rules. I think that's a good practice because if not followed by someone with an animal they could ruin it for all in future and people staying with no animals. As aa traveller with animal I appreciate motels offering pet friendly accomodation.
Allonville Gardens Motel

The first time stay was a ”takeover booking” from my daughter at Easter 2021 who couldn't make the trip. That stay was I have to say not so great - not much hot water and the room could have been cleaner. However we needed to go to Wagga again on the June long weekend and decided to give the place a second try. Was a bit apprehensive as to how warm it would be in the room (air con and blankets) and how the hot water would stand up. I have to say our second stay was really good - great hot water, super clean room with plenty of blankets and pillows. For the price it was great value. It does need an update - everything very dated and worn - but most importantly clean (the second time much better). I would definitely stay there again. It is situated on the Sturt Highway which goes from the Wagga Wagga turnoff from the Hume Highway right through to South Australia - so lots of traffic! Try and book a room as far away from the road as possible. To be honest I didn't actually hear too much traffic - we were in room 15, quite a distance from the highway.
Centralpoint Motel

Very nice staff and a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfy. Real value for money, you won't find that in many places in Australia. The location is perfect, all the nice places to go are within walking distance. Tip: ask for a room on the sunny side of the building, especially in winter time.
Burringa Garden Motel
4.2/535 Reviews
On the positive side it was quiet, the room was clean & spacious, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the kitchenette had the basic necessities, toiletries were provided in the bathroom & the shower, while a little tricky, was hot & powerful. On the negative side we had no sofa in the room only 2 uncomfortable chairs that looked like they belonged in an outdoor setting. The crockery provided was all mismatched & the fridge wasn’t working properly. The motel is very dated but it was reasonably priced & ok for a one or two night stay.
St Hugh Hotel Wagga Wagga
4.6/537 Reviews
We stopped and stayed at St Hugh at Wagga Wagga on our way home from Melbourne. The hotel has only opened 2 weeks ago. The two king size suited us with two kids, and the design of the room and the bathroom are functional and maintained clean. The staff at the reception are very helpful, especially Rebecca who contacted us for the left behind earrings of my wife. She made a lot of effort to send the earrings by registered mail . The location is within walking distance to shops and three Supermarkets. We highly recommend this hotel halfway between Melbourne and Sydney.
