This unit was very dated and not very clean. Beds were not comfortable at all. Our flight was delayed a day and the management company refused to give us any concessions. Property was beautiful though and across the street from the beach

It may be close to the ocean, but so many things wrong with this place. The room had a pocket door that was off track so there was no privacy between the shower & toilet from the bedroom & sink. Called for maintenance to come & fix it. They never came, nor called, texted or emailed. Front desk states they have nothing to do with private rooms, so they are of no help if there is a problem. The patio door doesn't lock & a piece of the air conditioning unit fell off in the middle of the night. Low fan speed is not low, it is quite strong & blows in your face if you stay on the bed next to it. Coffee for guests would be nice who are Staying there. I would not stay there again even if it is the cheapest place to stay.

We have stayed at the Maui Banyan several times before. Our room, Q405 was very clean and had an excellent partial ocean view. The unit was just missing a few kitchen items, such as a “flipper” and cutting board…nothing that affected our enjoyment of Maui.
The grounds are very well kept, and bbq area kept spotless!
We would request this unit when we return to beautiful Maui once again!

Fantastic location!
Easy parking.
We really like this hotel and would go back.
Here's the catch though.
Do NOT rent through Castle as they're privately owned and do NOT provide house keeping services or re filling of basic household needs.
Book through Austin. This is the main Hotel company.
Why not get some basic housekeeping and t.p./p.t. etc?
Same price.... Argh! I didn't know they were different when booking, and will not make that mistake again.
This is not made clear when booking.

We had a lovely stay at Maui Banyan. It was located at a very convenient spot, walking distance to the beach and many dining spots. The place was clean, overall.
