Quaint, comfortable and a delicious breakfast
The hosts are welcoming, the B&B is cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious. This is an old house from the 1800’s with all the charm you would expect, but completely renovated to have all the modern conveniences and very clean. The wood burning fireplace is so inviting. The breakfast is not your typical breakfast. It is a three course delight. We stayed 2 nights. The first morning we had a sweet scone, followed by a poached pear followed by a potato frittata with lox and poached egg. The second morning we had a savory cheese scone, followed by a citrus compote, followed by fresh ricotta and lemon pancakes.
The drive to Sugarbush is quick and well worth the drive to stay at the Featherbed Inn. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We've stayed at many lovely B&Bs in New England, but NEVER have we found two innkeepers who lived into their roles like Mick and Karen! Welcoming, hospitable, energetic, ever-present and full of area recommendations - they're a downright delight to be around. The kitchen is at the center of their inn's experience - inviting, busy and aromatic. Every breakfast is a delicious, locally-sourced creation. This was an annual biking trip with friends and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Karen and Mick are exceptional hosts who have done an amazing job giving this property new life. The gardens, grounds, pond, porch and deck provide a variety of spaces to hang out and enjoy the scenery. There's lots to do nearby, from hiking to biking to skiing, as well as perusing the local small towns. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the breakfasts were delicious (oh those scones!) and at every point I felt properly pampered. I can't say enough good things about this inn, can't wait to get back!

We had an amazing first experience staying at a B&B! The hospitality and accommodations truly exceeded our expectations. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire pit. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and the property is stunning. We wish we could have stayed longer! The area was perfect so much to do and see.

We were welcomed at the inn by Mic. He showed us around the inn and our room. When we said we were looking for a romantic dinner reservation on a Tuesday night , most places were closed. He recommended a wonderful take out and set us up on the deck to watch the sunset. After, he lit a fire outside to enjoy. The next morning we had a true gourmet breakfast cooked by his wife Karen….fantastic. Karen and Mic truly welcomed you in to their home and that in itself will want you to return ! P.S. The hot tub was wonderful and they are building a sauna….did I mention the gardens ❤️
